+ Show Spoiler +God, that was such a facepalm scene. Even though there's a goddamn bathroom in their dorm, they get dressed in front of each other. I would have overlooked it if that panty scene was actually good, but it wasn't. : | Show nested quote +On February 19 2011 11:33 tonight wrote: Man, I'm done streaming these shows. I only torrent when there's no other option. It blows having to wait to convert the videos onto a USB to stick into my PS3 though.

Why do you have to put it onto a flash drive? You downloaded it with a computer, no? Just watch with that. :D
Or just get some kinda cord to hook up from your computer to your TV/DVD/BD player. Or a projector.
Edit: Could you just burn the episodes to DVDs/BDs?

Computer screen < TV Screen. Burning it = money flashdrive = free.
I have been considering getting a hook up to use my TV as a monitor, but I'm not sure because I hear those can be pricey.

Too lazy to quote myself, but for IS LN, that scene was prefaced by Charlotte refusing to let Ichika go away to change and was staring at him herself.

I'm glad that the animators made that clear -_-
@ tonight: Yeah, that's what I have. I use my TV as a monitor. Best monitor ever.

I just finished watching the movie Vanishment of Haruhi Suzumiya and it was amazing. I would recommend it to anyone who loved/liked the anime series.

ex. Ai Yori Aoshi, True Tears, Myself; Yourself, etc etc
Ef - a tale of memories and then the second one Ef - a tale of melodies are great romance/drama animes involving childhood friends and all that.
It can be a pretty confusing for some people as the anime spins around 2 different stories that in fact have a pretty strong connection between them. Kind of hard to explain. I didn't find it confusing at all though. The animation is really good aswell.
If you plan on watching them , just make sure you watch them in order. "memories" first then "melodies".

Yeah, from reading all of Ecael's comments on the LNs, I can pretty much tell that that was wishful thinking.

You'd be surprised. This is kind of a one time thing though since it's before all the bullshit goes down.

Pleasantly, I'm hoping.
The BS? You mean all the plot armor?

What kind of TV do you have/how much was the cord? Also, does it lower the quality from the computer to the TV with it?

I have a Vizio. 42" LCD. I didn't buy the cord, so I don't know how much it was. I'm sorry :x
It looks fine on the TV. There may be a bit of a difference because of the size discrepancy, but I haven't really noticed it.

Careful about asking people at Best Buy. Some of the employees there have no idea what they're talking about -_-

I'm just saying, take everything with a grain of salt. Maybe the Best Buy by my house is just shit. I usually look at stuff online first, that way I know what I'm gonna buy before I even go to the store, or I narrow it down to a few candidates before going to the store.

Maybe next episode we will get to see Houki eat a Revolver Stake to the face. Its like every time Charlotte gets into the Alteisen, the animators just constantly troll me by having her use machine guns.
|
You aren't a fan of the dual machine pistols?
Edit: Coulda sworn that Mai in Kanon was voiced by Saito Chiwa. But it's Yukarin?! She has some serious talent -_-

Some of the employees there have no idea what they're talking about -_- I don't know anything about anything, so I'm gonna trust them over me There are three main ways to hook up your computer to your tv. The first is by VGA cable. This is the cable that goes goes from your computer tower to your monitor - a lot of tvs nowadays also have this input. The second is s-video. Not all computers or tvs will have this input. The third option is hdmi. These inputs are practically standard on high def tvs these days. Chances are good that your computer won't have it unless you have a decent graphics card though.
Quality-wise, hdmi is the best since the signal is digital. Still, vga and s-video look fine. Also bear in mind that the resolution supported by most tvs nowadays is generally lower than that of a good computer monitor.
Cables are fucking expensive. If you can wait, it's probably best to buy them from ebay or something since they're way cheaper. For hdmi cables, get the cheapest one you can find. More expensive cables won't improve quality since the signal is already digital. While cable quality will affect how your picture looks for vga and s-video, it's still not a huge deal. Cheap cables work fine.
Oh, and make sure that your computer and tv both have the proper inputs/outputs or you're just going to be wasting your time looking at cables.
