To my understanding, the dream demon is saying that nightmares and dreams are the same thing, and to kill a nightmare is to kill a dream? But then he said something like "what do you think happened to the humans who had their dreams destroyed by you?". I think he's just implying that the humans will no longer have dreams, but I'm not entirely sure.

What does he mean by "you and I can't change" and "I can't be redeemed"? And why does he then try to recruit Engi after saying that?

I got to say Kent is like trolling kazehaya, that makes things interesting, imo. I think hes just gonna get really friendly with sawako, and that sorta adds fuel to the fire of "protecting her/popularity" vs "going with his emotions". 'Cause i think he didn't really think about that till Kent mentioned it. Probably the rest of the season (depending on how long it is) will revolve around him chosing a decision (hopefully the right one (i see what i did there)). Yea it really doesn't matter cause everyone in chibi form is lawlzy.

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing about Kent, but it could still go either way. That's why I thought things would get moving quicker because this season is only 12episodes, but than again they could make another season. I heard someone say the manga wasn't very far along, though. I would hate for them to make up an ending and stray from the manga, but I would like to have some closure without some year+ delay for episodes while the manga pumps out more chapters.

Yes, killing the nightmare will kill the vessel's dream (supposedly). Engi has already killed many nightmares prior to these events so if what the nightmare says is true, then many humans have lost their dreams because of her (it is implied that they were negatively affected somehow).

Engi wants to defeat Pharaos to redeem herself in her eyes (since she blames herself for her sister's death) but really does not want to involve humans (this is shown by her horror when Yumeji gets wounded by her). So when she learns the truth she realizes that she has already broken this principle many times. Furthermore she believes she will also die in battle sometime in the future which she originally believed wouldn't affect Yui that much but now knows that Yui's dreams will die along with her. This causes her to believe that even if she ends up succeeding, by sacrificing so much to do, she wouldn't really be redeemed.

So the nightmare suggests she might as well join him such she's stuck as a "bad guy" (hence the can't change line) anyways.

I wouldn't mind another season, as long as the plot is moving forward, and there aren't any filler episodes. Maybe there will be a 3rd season? I hope so, its been pretty good/entertaining so far.

The story takes place in the second half of the 19th century, as Japanese culture gains popularity in the West. A young Japanese girl, Yune, accompanies a French traveller, Oscar, on his journey back to France, and offers to help at the family’s ironwork shop in Paris. Oscar’s nephew and shopowner Claude reluctantly accepts to take care of Yune, and we learn how those two, who have so little in common, get to understand each other and live together in the Paris of the 1800s.

About fucking time. I was getting tired of nothing happening chapter after chapter. I swear, the last major development in the story was 30 chapters ago during the festival. Maybe we'll actually see some progress in the plot now.

What the fuck did i just watch? 4 parts of 6 minutes each?
That was stupid, nothing really got explained. Just what the fuck.
I feel ripped

It was a standard mahou shoujo crammed into a single episode. We got:

• Girl thrust into supernatural situation
  
• Transformation sequence
  
• Bad guy collecting stuff (which looks like the confetti from Kobato, incidentally)
  
• Defeat
  
• Sudden unexplained powerup of main character
  
• FRIENDSHIP
  

As for the plot, I can't really help you there lol.

The show was probably a pilot. Instead of getting a TV slot, they can air whatever, whenever on Youtube, so maybe it was an experiment? I mean, if a lot of people watch it, they'll probably make a full series. If not, then we'll all just forget about it in a couple weeks.
