You know what they should've written for OreImo? A "normal end" like the ones in Tsukihime/FSN. Kirino gets hit by a bus and dies without reconciling with Kyousuke. It'd be awesome. + Show Spoiler [True end rant] + Why couldn't they just do this in the first place? The "good end" was such a stupid copout. I can do without having a stupid talk about leaving following by a horribly cliche line from the eroge in the background which mirrors Kirino's feelings. It wasn't touching, it was stupid. And then the next day, Kirino's still there as if nothing fucking happened. What the fuck. What a waste of an episode. | ||

I stopped after ep 1, just because I kept hearing that the mysteries were retarded. I ended up reading a bunch of forums to find out, but Latham beat me to it -_- But from reading those forums (MAL and animesuki), it seems that people are eating this show up. If it weren't for Madoka, it'd probably be the flavor of the month -_- Edit: BTW, Merry chapters 13 and 14 are scanlated. I gotta read those tomorrow ^_^ | ||

Didn't expect to find something to read based off of winter's list. They both also have some catching up to do, so you can expect a very abnormal amount of chapters coming out in the following weeks. Freezing is around chapter ~30 (I think?) while Chinese scans are up to 56, and YM has 3 volumes (around 30 chapters?) to catch up to. The only difference is, it seems YM is getting more attention and subsequently getting translated much much faster than Freezing. I wouldn't be shocked to see chapter 15/16/(17?) up by the end of today for YM, judging from the speed they're going. | ||

I think that I'm okay with watching Merry just for Merry and the art in general because judging from the manga, the series is actually really great. Since I haven't read the LNs for Gosick, I don't know what's gonna happen with the show. And even though Victorique is one of the most moe lolis that I've see, I don't think I can bring myself to watch a mystery show where the mystery aspect is terrible.
