& omg Freezing is bad. Can't think of ever seeing anything worse than that. If the manhwa isn't any better than the anime I think I've lost faith in the whole industry. If only my LoGH was more than 47% done I wouldn't need to plow through all the crap to find something worthwhile.( I assume it's pretty good.) | ||

The anime turned Freezing into pure fanservice. In the manga you still get the occasional panty-shot but there's actual gore and fighting. The story basically feels like a Sci-Fi version of Claymore (someone made a comparasion a few pages back) but I don't think that that is necessarily bad. Afterall, Claymore is a good popular manga. I personally hate how the anime Pandora mode is just a reskin, and I prefer the "robot" suit that the manga has. The drama behind/with Satellizer is getting a bit stale, but it seems like she's graduating from it bit by it. On the other hand, the boy (whatshisname) is still a complete pussy which is irritating. Gah, lately I've been so pissed off with the male leads everywhere I look. Fucking stereotype. It's even gotten into seinen lately. Pussy + no spine + crybaby + man child + moralfag + completely average/not standing out + friendship = ideal fucking main lead. Clannad Swan Song are all really good and thanks for posting that site with the OreImo summaries was a really good read  + Show Spoiler [OreImo] + but I have to admit that after reading that Kirino basically told him that she likes him, he still starts going out with Ruri that took me by surprise. Though of course they are brother and sister. | ||

I mean I hope that's how things are, because if it is just stupid tsundere getting in the way then I am going to ignore the rest of that series and read only parts that have Ayase. I only retained a general interest in the series because of how Kirino still has potential to not just be another tsundere imouto, if that's what she is then meh. It could just mean that I am expecting too much from this series though, can't keep track of the amount of times that Kuroneko and such make the point that Kirino loves Kyosuke in a romantic way. They can't have been that right that whole time and this series can't be as shallow as that. I hope. | ||
