I think the nicest OST no one talks about that comes to the top of my head is Witch Hunter Robin, not sure what triggered that in my brain. Probably because that type of ballady shit (for the op/ends anyway) isnt that common anymore. Or maybe it is and I just stopped paying attention. Probably the latter.

GitS soundtrack is also the bomb. Another one that comes to mind with the truly Japan vibe is Shigurui (which is also one of my favorite shows).

Aria's soundtrack is pretty nice in general.

IIRC Yosuga no Sora had a strangely good soundtrack for such a trashy show.

Kaze ga Tsuyoku was anime of the season by far for me, but I then noticed it was a 2-cour show. I'm worried it might overstay its welcome, sports anime work well in short seasons. A solid 9/10 so far though, really great; and underrated from what I (don't) read here and the ratings I see on MAL. Although I understand it's probably not the kind of anime that will generate a lot of discussion here or anywhere else.

Ice aksed me yesterday what my favorite Voice Actors are. I thought to myself that just listing a couple would be boring so I spend the last couple hours shamelessly plagiarizing Sent and made a Tier-list of VAs. Handdrawn in Pain(t). Only Mouse, no custom colors allowed or anything like that.

But drawing actual people in paint is difficult and they'd just all end up looking the same because... well normal people. So instead I drew a character they voiced that should hopefully either be one of the more important ones for them or just some specific character I liked.

You can try and guess who some of them are! For the most part, because I can't draw for shit I took some reference picture and tried to draw it like that but not always. Also, beware, there are some real monstrosities in there.

Lastly, just saying it again, it's a ranking for Voice Actors and I just picked a character for them. So in no way am I ranking characters and while the Tiers differentiate them, there is no ranking within the tiers themselves.

Have fun guessing, I'll post the answers tomorrow or something like that?

I'd recommend opening that in a seperate tab on an actual monitor to be able to see something. Def not smartphone-friendly..

2 Tips:
1) The one thing that doesn't look like a character is a meme.
2) some colors might be a bit off because I only used standard colors in paint and that gave me some issues with 1 or 2 characters.

Also, "Yoppi" is not a VA so i didn't draw him.

My all-time favorite male seiyuu is without a doubt Masato Hagiwara (the voice of the greatest gamblers). Mamoru Miyano a bit behind. Favorite female seiyuu are Miyuki Sawashiro and Shizuka Itou (although I can't say she has had main roles in very memorable shows, I just like her voice).

I'm quite proud of that one indeed :D.
I started with "anime girl grey hair red", "anime girl grey hair red cane", that didn't really lead anywhere (now that I know, it's not a cane). Then I tried to look up ahoge girls. Then finally I tried variants on "anime girl checkered" and in Google Images I saw a cosplay or fanart of a character with a checkered dress holding what looked like my "red cane". That was it :D.

I started watching Yuru Camp yesterday because literally everyone put it as their favourite anime in 2018. I'm 3 episodes in and it's surprisingly entertaining. Very comfy, no really annoying characters (Rin is best so far), no annoying humour (I actually got some decent laughs in every episode) and it makes me smile.
