I know what charts say, but animal parts are animal parts, and furry is furry. On a scale from 0 to 10 of furriness, that girl is at like a 1, but she still exists on the scale. I don't think that's accurate. If someone is a furry, I don't think they'd be fans of like, things on the 1 scale. By that measurement anyone who likes playboy bunnies are furries?

I wouldn't call them furries but I'd call an anime girl (or real girl) that has "only" a tail and bunnyears, but real ones at that, a 1 on the furryscale. Which according to everyone besides Sent and me is not enough to be even labeled some weaksauce furry.

Probably more a matter of perspective. If your not a furry you will probably think like Sent and see it more as a spectrum that having animal parts qualifies you as being on that spectrum. However if you are into furrys you probably have some personal threshold that must be reached to qualify and a girl like the one Toad presented falls short of that and is only somewhat related but "not one of us".

This furry discussion is going over my head. Googled "furry" and instead of what I was expecting, I got uncanny valley cartoon body suits and some really god awful drawn art. I don't see how it is related to anime except as a tangential part of cosplay.

Well to get back on track a little bit...
I'm looking for something to watch with the gf, but it's very hard to find something.
She did enjoy death note, Hunter x Hunter, full metal alchemist, castlevania, attack on titan... Did not like one piece, soa...
Any recommendations?

What kind of stuff is she into? One Punch Man is short and fun. If she’s into sports Yuri on Ice is ok.

Boku no hero academia, Katanagatari, Haikyuu, Silver spoon, Spice & Wolf, Death Parade, Shirobako, Barakamon, Usagi Drop.
I'm sure she'll enjoy at least one of these.

One of my dreams if I ever get a girlfriend is to watch Kimi no Na wa.

spoiler alert, they cry.

Mmmh something to watch with the gf. I'd probably say Nisemonogatari or kimi no Na as well.
The second because it's extremely popular, especially with people who aren't too big into the fandom yet. The first because last time that happened with someone in here it ended in "yo, wanna test that out?" (We all know what scene I'm talking about, right?)

Kimi no Na Wa works so well for girls. It's pretty much a romcom movie tbh
I had a date night and i just decided to watch Kimi No Na Wa with her(it was showing that time). It worked out pretty well and she doesn't even watch anime.
Kimi no na Wa is pretty much the only anime i know that has a general positive reception to girls i know that watched it. The others vary in their likes like some like one piece/fairy tail, others some of those shoujo shows(ok alot like this stuff), a couple liked the fate series. I know that one of my friends really liked FMA and nothing else

... pfff, "gf" ... as if, Marc! haha, btw. nice to see you here (even nicer that you are reading/posting at the anime discussion thread)
on a more serious note, i would recommend Akame ga Kill!; Drifters; Overlord; Quan Zhi Gao Shou or maybe Dungeon ni Deai o Motomeru no wa Machigatteiru Darō ka.
And based on the fact that she liked Death Note maybe Mirai Nikki?

Uhm Death Note and MIrai Nikki isn't very similar. Also Mirai Nikki is bad (or i thought it was)

No, Furries are weirdos who wear cat tails out in public (or in more extreme cases, full body animal suits) who masturbate to animals.
