We should have an LOGH rewatch. Maybe we can even sucker some newbies into watching it too!
That said, I usually don't watch more than one or two episodes a day. If I watch more than that, things start to blend together and it gets difficult to remember some finer details. I like to watch things slowly and give myself plenty of time to digest and analyze them.

Man, liking japanese music is such a pain. Like, nothing can compare to the feeling of surfing youtube trying to find something new to listen to, and then finding that one special song. Most likely a cover of some anime opening. You listen to it, think it's the best thing ever and much better than the original. Then you try to find this singer's name. After some time, you do find it, and listen to some more of their stuff on youtube, and the stars have aligned - you love it. So you head to jpopsuki, only to find out that nothing of their stuff is available for download. Damn you Japan and your utaite culture and abundance of talented singers.
If you can't find stuff on Jpopsuki, Nyaa, /jp/, and the like, it must be truly hipster.
True suffering is liking some doujin music artist just to find out that they only release their works at conventions like Comiket and M3, with nothing available in online stores like Booth, Bandcamp, Melonbooks, etc.
can you elaborate on the "/jp/" thing? not sure I know of it.
Started watching Yakitate Japan. Pretty cool seeing what I assume as the "originals" that Souma does call backs to. Like the guy that looks identical to Danish rage boy.
It's good to know that over the years the formula has been improved by merely making it lewder. That's the kind of progress I like to see. Now if only we could get more seasons of Yozakura quartet

Yakitate Japan was pretty good, but IMO its too long for its own good. Eventually it becomes... stale bread. huehuehuehuehuehuehue
been sick the week, got a lot of time so I check out all those new VR youtubers besides Kizuna Ai because really bored.
First of all, there's one complete with jiggle phyiscs! And as I watch a video of hers that has her trying out VR chat, I realize that she found ferrose!!!

You could say it stopped pan-dering to your tastes.

Don't know. I have only watched episode 1 and it was alright? A mix of being entertaining and boring. And the MC girl sucks. I also can't believe people hyped it up based on the visuals of a trailer. The show looks good but certainly nowhere near as good as the trailer - as expected.

probably would've taken too long
"─ There is one scene in the first episode that did have to be considerably nerfed when compared to the production of the series’ commercials though, and it relates to an amusing anecdote. The typewriter shot in Violet Evergarden’s first CM took a whole month to key animate, fully realizing a shot that required a layout that was 1.75m tall and 1.36m wide. Ishidate explained that the staff had learned their lesson, and so the keys of the typewriter will be a 3D model in the TV series instead."

Violet Evergarden is living up to the hype. Been pretty damn good so far. I don't really give too much into the notion that the animation of the trailer made the hype. People liked the source lns + the studio doing it + the advance screening built the hype up.

And ofc obligatory shit taste confirmed etc etc.
You mean the shit taste of everybody who likes the LN?
lol just watched Darling in the FranXX ep3 and the internet (reddit and MAL) is apparently exploding? I don't reddit but Neo mentioned it and I checked MAL
So basicly the episode was about getting NTR'd, which I get is pretty divisive and I'm not talking about how people not liking that would be weird. That's not my point at all. But why does it only come up now after ep3?
Hiro LITERALLY got to ride Ichigo in ep2 for a sparring match to prove his abilities. And that's all fine and good. Good for him, he gets to bang another girl. But now his boss tells him that he isn't allowed to sortie out with 02 and random-asshole-BackgroundCharacter gets to ride 02 instead and everyone goes crazy about how awful that is and omg NTR, how could they.
Like really... I don't see the difference in here.. can someone explain to me why ep2 is totally cool and ep3 is OMG DROPPED for what they did?
Also unrelated but just to state the obvious:
god damn it, why is ichigo so hot got to admit that 02 is pretty damn aweseome as well characterwise she trumps everything and everyone. But when it comes to being hot or not she's just not my style. Such a shame😞
But the Ichigo train is sooooooooo dead. It exploded before it could even leave the trainstation so dead is it. The same could probably be said for every other train out there no labeled 02. Maybe the blond guy (Ichigo's partner) has a non-zero chance but everything else was over 1 or 2 episodes in lol
