He just chose to end it in a way that didn't jive with most people's sensitives. I would read it and be sad and move on. I dont think I wish I hadnt read it even if I didnt particularly enjoy it either. I wouldve kept wanting to. It sucks either way.

Not really how it works, and plus when it comes to Hunter x Hunter, a chapter coming out isn't really any indication that the manga has actually resumed. More than likely it'll go on another indefinite haitus yet again after a couple weeks, like it always does.

They seem to follow each other somewhat. I just assumed it was the same for others.

And dragon ball super doesn't really follow any manga, it's just its own thing while the manga version is similar it's also full of differences and comes out at a different pace all together afaik. It's completely different from HxH honestly.

https://hiatus-hiatus.github.io/ Just look at all that red. From the point where the Manga began serialization to the present, its actually been on Hiatus more weeks than its actually been printed. Its earned its nickname of "Hiatus x Hiatus"

I'm basically just curious why hxh wouldn't be expected to behave the same as DBS.

HxH doesn't have material to run indefinitely since it follows its manga (afaik) and you can't have a studio just drop whatever they're doing to start adapting more HxH just because the author finally produced a few more chapters. It takes a lot of planning to make an anime when it's not just running indefinitely. DBS is also produced to be relatively cheaply made and just pumped out to fill an early morning timeslot as literal sunday morning kid's TV while from what i know the HxH anime had decent production values and had a late night slot.

But I do appreciate your explanation ![]()

+ Show Spoiler [Altair ep16] + I really don't know why they feel the need to drop the typical anime moe shit here and there. Absolutely unnecessary and it's not good for the integrity of the show. The show is definitely at its best when it's doing politics. I enjoy that there are numerous sides which all have intelligent thinkers.
