It's really amazing though. They have the storyboard for s2 ep1 there for you to look through (photos not allowed  ) and man the amount of detail they put into that kou-ass shot really made me laugh.I almost felt bad for making a literal shitpost on the wall there. But only almost | ||

The show's basically done a complete 180 from its first arc. I'm glad they dropped the whole pacifism at all costs shtick. A lot of the dangling plot threads got wrapped up too easily, but overall, they've set up a very nice base to work with. Elegant Yokai Apartment Life - more of the same from last season. I am more suspicious than ever they are sneaking some implied yaoi past me. Shokugeki no Souma - Yep, about what I expect. Juni Taisen - Nisio Isin, but action. Also, probably predictable based on the old zodiac stories but could be fun. Love is Like a Cocktail - Only three minutes long, about alcohol, and reminds me of a not quite as good I Can't Understand What My Husband Is Saying. Konohana Kitan - Fantasy world Hanasaka Iroha vibes. Recovery of an MMO Junkie - Probably okay. A more adult version (ie, they're not all in high school) of And You Though There Was Never A Girl Online? Twocar - High school girls with motorcycles. But not Bakuon. Probably sportsy anime. Bend-S - More moe version of Working! with less crazy characters. Probably. The Ancient Magus' Bride - I like it. + Show Spoiler + Though technically, those flying fairies with the chicken legs are Sleigh Belly, not Chise. In folklore. But they did call her "their robin" so maybe? And that's what I've got so far. | ||

Girls’ Last Tour is post-apocalyptic iyashikei or something. Frankly, it feels a bit weird having these be full 20 minute episodes. Hoozuki is still good. Garo has amped up the testosterone to ridiculous levels. Honoo no Kokuin had the benefit of a good story. We'll see if that's the case here. Kekkai Sensen was distilled insanity. Looking forward to more. Chise can't possibly hope to compete with the cuteness that is chibi Elias. | ||
