All the women are secretaries (and all the secretaries are women), no women in important positions at all, and they're all submissive to the men. The only black person is a body guard who defers to a sixteen year old. Admittedly, I'm only up to ep. 60, but it really seems pretty noticeably racist and sexist lol. | ||

I don't think so. And she wasn't a secretary. Edit: About DVDs for LoGH, will there be a BD? I'm pretty sure that BDs hold more stuff than DVDs, and a DVD box set for LoGH would be like 30 discs -_- | ||

Antics antics antics PLOT. Though it's not a very good plot... I was hopeful that we'd get something good, but alas, it was not to be. It's painfully obvious that the killer isn't Yuu. My bet's on the new girl, whatever her name is. She really reminds me of Sakura from Fate/stay. Similar voice, ill girl, senpai senpai senpai, | ||

Are most of the important people women? Yeah. But Ferrose brought up a good counter example for the Alliance in Jessica. There were already other women on the High Council of the Alliance. As to why most people in the military are male, I don't think its THAT hard to understand. Even if you just take the Alliance military, which is at least modeled on a modern democratic military, compare it to how the United States works. Only men are required to register for the draft. Therefore, only men are drafted. Therefore, only men made up the military. Is that "sexist"? I dunno. As for "all secretaries are women", its just plain wrong. There are tons of male secretaries in the show, even up to the parts you have watched, so I don't know why you would claim that. And as for "the only black guy is a body guard who defers to a 16 year old", did you forget the Fleet Admiral who was Yang's boss for almost all of Season 1? Sidney Sitolet was his name, I think? He was depicted as one of the very few compentent and good established Admirals in the Alliance who wasn't in Yang's fleet, and retired honorably. There are less ethnic minorities in general because so many were purged by the original Kaiser, like I said. + Show Spoiler [HUGE SPOILERS FROM END] + As for powerful women, Hilda Marinedorf eventually becomes Kaiserine, and rules the entire Galaxy after Reinhard's death. Frederica becomes the head of state for the Iserlohn Republic as their political leader after Yang and the El Facil Revolutionary Government gets assassinated.
