Meh over-all pretty good anime but that bump in the middle was almost too much. Not to mention the total WTF ending.

Meh over-all pretty good anime but that bump in the middle was almost too much. Not to mention the total WTF ending. Well, for Marlene, her personality change isn't too much. I mean its the type of thing that normally happens in animes with her type when they fall in love. Yuji's personality change was explained too, since that was central to the plot.

How about the fact that the first 10ish episodes yuji is a complete fucking retard cry baby. I can barely stand the series until he changes.

Reinhard, your plans are so awesome! 56 was an historical episode, but I kind of got bored after a while. Earth will probably play an important role soon. Maybe. I'm still wondering what the fuck is the secret police that Oberstein approved gonna do. It couldn't have been useless. + Show Spoiler + Episode 56 was extremely interesting, but since nothing really happened, I was half asleep the whole time -_-

I think there are two "dedicated history" episodes, but I can't really remember. Its good for setting the background of the story, but it kinda feels like watching the History Channel lol

I'm pretty sure that BDs hold more stuff than DVDs, and a DVD box set for LoGH would be like 30 discs -_- She does nothing until+ Show Spoiler + Her husband dies. And then she dies like 5 episodes later. The other non-submissive female is a whore who gets ahead in life by selling her body. That's pretty progressive right there. :/ Again, this is only until ep. 60.

Then a few eps later she confronts Trunicht during a huge speech on TV with millions if not billions of people watching. Then she is a campaign manager for the peace party. Then she organizes a giant, peaceful protest and dies in like ep twenty-two or twenty-four. Whenever the coup reached its climax. Edit: I think Lap was actually her fiance. Not that it matters. If you are refering to that slut from Phezzan, then you would be right though lol. Speaking as someone who has watched the entire show, I disagree with your assessment of the show being sexist. I would have also probably disagreed if I was around episode 60 as well.

She is just what Triangle would probably consider a "secretary" right now, so I didn't mention her. In actuality she is in one of the highest offices in the Galaxy, and is as much a secretary as Oberstein is (well, I guess this one goes a BIT too far, but you can see my point with it). But she just serves Reinhard as one of his chief advisors, and doesn't actually command fleets, so I guess that makes her a secretary. Come to think of it, since I mentioned Frederica, I probably should have mentioned Hilda, lol. Anyway, I didn't mean to imply anything about her future, but spoilers she isn't a prostitute

Anyway, I didn't mean to imply anything about her future, but spoilers she isn't a prostitute lol + Show Spoiler + Even the women who have like...advisory/assitant roles (Mariendorf/Frederica) aren't submissive or exploited. Mariendorf (up to ep 56) has been basically an advisor/informant, and Frederica is Yang's wife. It's not like they're there just for Reinhard and Yang to release their sexual tension. Yang obviously respects Frederica as a woman if he married her, and I don't think Reinhard is the type to make Mariendorf into his concubine or something. The only woman I can think of that doesn't actually have a lot of standing is the Phezzan lady (Dominique, I think). Edit: MY BODY IS READY http://vgmdb.net/album/23391 Nine days until the full version of the Madoka OP :D

Summer Wars is another good one. http://myanimelist.net/anime/5681/Summer_Wars On an unrelated note, it looks like FUNimation realized its mistake, and decided to re-stream Fractale: http://myanimelist.net/forum/?topicid=282155 Edit: Just to clarify, about how many episodes would you consider a "short" series?
