Nice. i liked code geass. WHY. Even setting aside how ass Code Geass turned out to be, what more could they possibly do with it?

Haha I'm dead. Gintama has some amazing episodes from out of nowhere. The episode where the kid writes an observation journal of a Madao....hilarious.
Seems like a real shame that the company doing the english translations randomly quit doing the series after vol 24....

Seems like I finally have to watch Code Geass now. Not really looking forward to it considering it's 50 episodes and Death Note's 37 were already quite painful for the second half.

Jokes aside, that really seems to be a trend right now: Going back to old franchises, be it shows, movies or games, and to a rehash/prequel/sequel/whatever, hype the shit out of it and make shit tons of money regardless of the quality of the product. Seems to work well for now....

Maybe they got bored of printing Gundam money and wanted to do some small time Geass printing. Really baffling honestly.
Why don't they instead just give us more seasons of Horizon and do them properly this time?!@

In terms of disc sales only SEED & Destiny outsold CG and Gunpla sales are probably much more significant than whatever merch CG has to offer.

Nice. i liked code geass. What? I'll watch but that's really out of thin air.
Nah man, the sequel is a few years after Zero Requiem and lelouch never died and he will be the protagonist again. Though they didn't announce whether the new CG will be a film or TV series or ova.
I always believed in our king
There is also gonna be 3 compilation films of the series as well so people who don't want to watch the TV series could watch that to catch up I guess.

Unicorn also savagely beat Geass into the ground. If they made another UC production like Crossbone or something (that fans have been begging for for years), they'd be rolling in cash

Early UC still sells like hotcakes and they couldn't possibly fuck it up since the executive director wrote the manga himself.

Yoshikazu Yasuhiko did the manga, and he was the original character designer. The Manga is phenominal, and everyone should do themselves a favor and read it. Its really weird what they are doing with The Origin anime, though. They aren't actually adapting the whole thing, they are just adapting a lot of the backstory/flashback stuff from the later Volumes, about Char's origins. Which is a real shame, since an actual adaptation of the manga would be great. Maybe once they are done with the backstory stuff they'll move to the rest? If not, The Origin will end up being the second Gundam production to not actually have a Gundam in it.

Good luck to the FGO players who will be rolling for Rin Ishtar.

I stayed up until ~3am yesterday hoping you'd get on because it was still Sunday and all. So around 15-16 o'clock your time and still noone there I can't both stay up long (early in the morning for you) and wake up early (late in the day for you) all day so just gimme a timeframe during which I should be on irc
