I had the same thing. For me it's also ecchi followed by harems. Not that big of an ecchi fan but I certainly don't hate it. Neither harems. But there's just more trash in those categories so kinda understandable
mfw have to watch Souma after all...

The answer to that is easy. Ecchi shows are more likely to be utter shit because the authors rely on the sex baits to carry the show and neglect everything else most of the times. That way you will rate those shit shows lowly but the ecchi part is not the reason why you rated them so lowly.

Yes. It didn't hook my until episoe twentysomething or so. Then it became better and better once you really got to know all the cool characters. Totally worth it in the end.
