I've seen IS, and Yumekui Merry, but I would say that you'd have to see those for yourself. They weren't anything special, but not bad. Edit: I'm about to torrent Kore wa Zombie desu ka?, and the only subbers listed are Horrible and Commie. >.< | ||

Like I mentioned earlier, character designs were all changed in this show, and changed for the worse. Only like Lennenkanpt looked the same, but thats because all they have to do is draw Joseph Stalin for his design. Everyone else, ESPECIALLY Yang and Attenbrough, were like different people. Yang sounds older in this than he does in the OVA, and hes tons younger! Spartanians and Valkyries also got a drastic redesign, and don't look like Spartanians and Valkyries anymore. The Battleships were all very different, and even the command rooms of Iserlohn and the ships look tons different. Gone are the huge, spacious, pompous rooms of Imperial bridges and Iserlohn's command center. Oh yeah, speaking of Iserlohn, they turned it into the Death Star. It doesn't have the Liquid Metal shell on the outside, and literally looks just like the Death Star. And then the show goes a bit farther and directly contradicts the series, with + Show Spoiler + Iserlohn almost being destroyed by an Alliance fleet, even though they explicitly state that Iserlohn's outer hull was never even damaged until a certain battle like mid-way through LOGH. Its very hard to appreciate this movie after having watched the entire series, plus the other 2 movies. I mean, I suppose the second half wasn't bad, but I can't forgive the movie for being THIS different. | ||

Even though he was on Yang's staff? Yeah, I thought that was pretty strange. I guess Yang doesn't mind.  Well, technically, I don't think he's actually part of the Alliance forces, and is just a "guest". Hence why he doesn't wear the Alliance uniform. He could be considered a civilian now, I suppose, so maybe he just wears the uniform out of pride or something. Who knows. Edit: Google Goggles is quickly becoming the Eden System. | ||

I've started on LOGH Gaiden 1 (A Hundred Billion Stars; A Hundred Billion Lights). So far, its very good. Same quality as Movie 1&2, and the series itself. First part is Reinhard and Kircheis' first battlefield assignment right after graduation. And unlike everything else we got in the series or the movies, there was lots of land combat in the first part. Tank battles, infantry battles, stuff like that. I'm looking forward to continuing this. | ||

I sense the Alliance getting raped at Iserlohn. Geiersburg can successfully warp, and Yang is going all the way to Heinessen. I bet that the Empire will attack while he's not there. I don't think that Mariendorf will be able to stop Reinhard. I think that maybe there'll be a romance arc involving them, and it will end poorly. And Phezzan is really going to shake things up soon, with all this backroom plotting. Edit: I also thought that it was kinda cool how Mecklinger was a famous artist/poet before he became a soldier. | ||

Dude I saw one of these bladeless fans in a store a few months ago, and I thought it was the coolest thing ever! Havn't seen them since, doesn't look like they took off. On Topic: These spring anime don't look like anything special, but we shall see. They should totally make a Seinen Gundam series, can you imagine all the main pilots being replaced every 10-15 episodes cus they die in battles, would be epic. | ||
