Prison school isn't that crazy. Found it rather hilarious and quite enjoyable. Some real decent characterization as well. It's overall surprisingly tasteful most of the time.

In terms of new shows, Nanbaka, Bloodivores, and Bubuki have the most promise. Bubuki is a sequel and the first season was shit. On one hand, everything serious, the whole scating part and the more natural character interactions (Yuri x Yoko) were cool and pretty much what I expected from this anime. On the other hand, every attempt at comedy was fucking terrible and destroyed everything. Sayo please, for fuck's sake, just throw your garbage comedy out of the window and gift us an AotS..." Something attacked Europe in 1939, this *whatever* basicly took over Europe and people banded together to fight back. And after the intro we're in 1944, presumably fight still ongoing because it's about airplane-girls fighting back. Is this one of those trashy Nazi movies?

I didn't find anything funny or trying to be funny, maybe I wasn't paying attention

Also how is it a movie if it's a series. It literally tells you everything going on in the opening scenes.

It's alternate WW2. Come now Toad. Obviously those chose those dates very specifically lol.

Witches manifesting power sprout ears and a tail, and the powers themselves are varied. Names are changed (for example, the Fuso Empire is obviously Japan, Brittania likewise should be self explanatory, then there's Orussia, Liberion, Gaullis, Karlsland, etc). In the first episode, there's a newspaper article that shows two characters from Strike Witches. Otherwise, I don't know if there will be any real crossover between the two series - Brave Witches is supposed to be between season one and season two of Strike Witches chronologically. Technically speaking it should be exactly the kind of show I'm enjoying. Don't even remember why I put it on hold with a bad rating.

At the end of the day, wouldn't the world be a better place without pants? Well, witches can lose their magical powers as they get older, so... maybe it's just a witch thing? Don't want the tails getting bound up inside the pants or something.
