Seems like swords because swords are cool. But yeah it does look pre ww1-like overall with that flying baloon/zeppelin thing and everything. I just don't think there's more thought to it other than it looking cool~ on Konobijutsubu: a decent episode despite not really focusing on characters I like. I thought I would like the teacher but she's not really my thing. Both moms were great though. Also the little kid is super cute. Let's hope they get more screentime | ||

Edit: Question about Steins;Gate + Show Spoiler + How is what they are doing sending messages in the past? Someone sends a message and then it appears on the phone like normal just the send date is days ago...if they were really sending messages back in time wouldn't they have been receiving the texts back then? Their whole thing with the microwave seems more like some weird interaction that fucks up texting rather than time travel lol. | ||

So the texts are being received by them "in the past" in another time line as the act of receiving the text changes the future thus either "creating" a new timeline or "shifting" depending on how you view it. Time travel in the sense of going back "within" the same timeline just creates too many paradoxes so isn't particularly used. Generally you get the whole different time line thing a lot more these days. It's just easier to work with. So all those times when he shifted timelines after Mayuri died meant that he didn't actually save her, he merely left to a time line where she wasn't dead. That's why later she "remembers" the deaths somehow. Can't remember if that was ever explained though. I think there is some other qerks about their time travel stuff like collapsing timelines but I don't know enough. That's just the general theory at least. | ||

I just realized that the twintail girl is going to be voiced by Touyama Nao (the one from the pigracing video from last week) so that might save that character at least | ||
