I just assumed it's a Harem show as the MC sounds exactly like the battle harem MC and the cover picture is exactly like the battle Harem cover pictures and it's a light novel adaption and it's description is exactly like a battle harem. Entirely possible it's just the LN MC without the harem attached though. Changing up the formula! :D edit: Talking about MCs has gotten a certain one stuck in my head which just made me angrier and angrier. I couldn't even shower in peace. I hate anime. | ||

Keima. That guy was a god. Such a shame what they did to that series, both when it comes to 3rd season as well as the manga ending. Easily worse than nisekoi ending if truck doesn't arrive anytime soon | ||

I think having a shitty MC is part of the definition of what a battle harem is supposed to be. Isn't the whole point of it to have an MC who's so bad with girls that no matter how bad you are with girls you can sit in front of the TV and be like "you know what? Not even I would be this dense". I also am reading the Shield Hero LNS and I think the mc is fine there as well. I haven't watched many battle harems lately because the newer ones mostly suck from the last couple of seasons. | ||

oh I forgot the 35th test platoon...their mc was pretty ok. Also at least in DxD they gave Issei a reason for being dense..and then after that was cleared up he is a solid MC in the love dept...though his mannerisms and over dramatics are annoying. | ||
