Enjoying Gakusen season 2 so far. + Show Spoiler +Glad that we finally got a bit more info about the sister. Also, nice to see some of the older characters still make some appearance even if brief.
Ushio to Tora: good start to the season. + Show Spoiler +Didn't think that we'll see them take Mayuko or anything happen to a main character so glad to be wrong there.
Watched first episode of Macross Delta. Music galore lol. Lots of CGI in there but it's not really too bad. Main characters are decent so far. Can't say much else though.

One thing that strikes me about this show is that it seems like this show is okada unfiltered much like anohana. I think its nice to see another show where she has a lot more input than what she normally has.

Man I get that music is integral to the Macross series and thats fine, great in most cases but they went all magical girl within 10 mins.
I aint looking for symphogear or Nanoha type shit from my Macross so im kinda disappointed. Also its kinda unexplained how that just became a thing in the Macross Universe but I guess they wanted to not be subtle about it and will probably explain it later, not that it helps much.
The fights were kinda nice though so ill stick to it.

Kumamiko gags are typically pretty hit or miss. Half the reason I like the manga is because every so often, the mangaka breaks out an oddly striking page/panel, like this or this.
Honestly, I think the manga's better suited for shorts than a full anime.
