I remember in ep one I was like "OMG it's been five minutes but they're already introduced like twenty characters. There's no way I can remember this!" Haha, it is very helpful with the huge amount of names in this show. Even with all of that, I still have to refer to Wiki now and then for name spelling, because I forget how to spell the names lol

I think all that German I took in high school has helped me with the spelling lol

ive never before been into anime before (except for something i once liked called gungrave i believe?) but here it goes!!!

Atleast someone agrees with my show choices =D they are really good shows that most people dont seem to want to watch, and just if you havent you need to see Gunslinger Girl, that is another oddly good show

...It's one of my favorite mangas. :D
The anime adaptation is really good too.
Edit: Just got to the Yui arc on TWGOK. Daaamn, she is fine.

LOGH: + Show Spoiler +Seeing Julian at the beginning just reinforces my thoughts on him at the end. Everyone should keep an eye on him, and watch him grow up. Hes probably the best example of character development in this entire show.
Sup Cazellnu.
Trunicht is a character who you just hate more and more as the series progresses, ESPECIALLY come later on.
|
I hate him already. What I don't understand though, is why the hell would someone name their kid "Job?"
And that other guy on the council is named Joanne. lololol
|
Trunicht and Fork are easily the 2 most despicable characters on the Alliance side.

Heh right now I am watching Kanon, To Love Ru, Gunslinger Girl, and i'll be starting Tsubasa: RC, all different in there genres but I'm one of those people who feels in order to actually say you enjoy anime you need to be willing to watch all the genres not stick to just one (i.e all the people who only enjoy action animes)
But for those who need an insanely good action anime Black Lagoon is awaiting you =D
Also waht is TWGOK never seen that abriv, sounds interesting though.

The World God Only Knows, I think?

As Sentenal said, it's The World God Only Knows. It's a really good manga with a great anime adaptation. Check it out if you like comedies.

Ah, I've heard really good things about that anime so i'll give it a go after I finish one of my current shows

@Sentenal
If you guys want to believe that Lulouch is alive, thats fine. Honestly, if that's just your opinion that he is alive, I don't care. What I get bugged about is when people start saying hes alive like its 100% fact. Its like you people think "omg u think he ded? u not intelligent omg look how smart geass is they had an emperor rocket!", and then that bugs me. I think it is pretty clear that Lulouch is dead, but I wouldn't even bother to argue it unless otherwise provoked.
Haha alright, I'm not one of those people, at least so I believe. I accept both ways, it's just that when someone completely denies that there was any possibility the creators purposefully left some hints in there suggesting that + Show Spoiler +Lelouch is alive, I feel he is... missing out I guess. Again, my view is that canonically, he is dead, which was obvious, but you can also interpret the hints and conclude he is alive.

Haha cough cough, One Piece, Naruto, Bleach, which honestly don't even have good animation quality considering they are action anime. Look at that one fight scene in the Yukine arc in Clannad, it's animated sooo much better than a typical fight in those shows, and it's not even an action show, it's romcom (lol useful term just learned here yesterday) / sliceoflife / drama.
Anyways, have you seen Clannad? If not it's by the same company as Kanon, and obviously it's also better (arguable) since it came out later and so reasonably the company should have improved.
Also, I think I'll check out Black Lagoon then... one of my friends checked it out and said it was really cool. So I guess its the action is really cool? Not that I have a problem with that.
About LoGH: what's so great about it? I mean, is it a great show, or a classic? Or both?
|
The creator saying that he's for sure dead isn't enough for you?
LoGH is great in its own ways. I've never seen a deeper anime story.

Yes I have seen Clannad and After Story, it is arguable my favorite anime of all time there were times where even I wanted to cry xD. It will prolly be one of the only animes I buy the collection for instead of ripping it.
Black Lagoon is in a way an actiony version of Clannad it has very good character development, in depth, and the action is amazing.
Dont read spoiler unless you must xD + Show Spoiler +Amazing gun fights to a man splitting a bullet in half with a sword =O
LoGH I've never seen or heard of.
On the code geass part, after watching it mutiple times I've to come to believe he is indeed alive many things point to it, the big one being when nunally touches him at the end and sees everything in his past (Something that only happens if the person you touch has a Code).
Also along the lines of action, one of my all time favorite action anime is Claymore, although it does greatly break from the manga ending it was very well done.

I have the Clannad collection. I'm waiting for a release of an After Story collection (they don't have a complete one yet).

I think Mushishi could be added to that "that kind of anime" list, also Kino no Tabi. Those are amazing.

I was thinking about Mushishi as an Anime that I would consider watching. Is it worth my time?

It's most similar to Kino's Journey, but I like Mushishi more. That said, it's the sort of show that is best watched in small doses - marathoning it is a bad idea imo.
