nah, people say it as an ironic comment, since a lot of the time Shokugeki has a bunch of shit which makes you forget it's just about cooking. | ||

I have some volumes of the manga, the recipes used by the characters punctuate the volume between chapters. It's fantastic. I can get the idea behind the jokes, because it is framed a lot like a battle anime, and that's what makes it so exciting when it really gets going, but when you look at what's really going on, cooking is the only thing that describes it properly. Btw, season 2 of the anime coming as early as the 28th, so, hype? The tournament has been my favorite part of the series so far, I'm fucking ready man. | ||

Well, I probed around a Japanese site or 2, and saw a 2/28/16 in relation to some announcement. Either way, the 2nd season has been confirmed and is on the way, whether it hits in 2 weeks or 2 months, it should be coming soon. | ||
