That and I like the setting, characters etc... so it's another factor. Its a good first step. Soon, you'll try out a few more longer anime, and plow through them too. And eventually, an anime's length won't really phase you. And when that happens.... it begins....
oh, well, the length doesn't really phase me but I like to commit to an anime completely if it's out already so if I was watching a long one, I prefer to finish it rather than watch other anime at the same time. It's more of a personal preference due to immersion but I do like the idea of a longer anime if it does a good job of developing the characters and story. I've already watched several rather long anime such as HxH and enjoyed it quite a bit. Even then, I had to stop right before the chimera arc and continued less than a year later to finish it. As for Ranma, well, there's enough "fillers" (what I feel at least) that I can take breaks to check out other anime before getting back to watching it again

Should def try out Urusei Yatsura as well. It is less refined (and less animated), but I find it funnier.

Yeah, so what you are doing with Ramna is basically watching it at your own pace. You watch what you feel like you want to, take a break, then come back later. And in time, as you continue your training, you'll be able to apply this technique to lots of other older anime too. Since older anime by in large tend to be more episodic in nature, even the ones with a continuing story are broken up episodically, if that makes sense.

Hmm Shoujo-tachi wa Kouya wo Mezasu seems like it will be better than Saekano at least. Not that it would be hard to accomplish since Utaha was the only redeeming thing about it.

Hmm I would say Nisekoi among the minority where the girls are passive like that. Usually there is a mix of aggressive with 1-2 timid ones and the mc is dense/scared/indecisive that blocks development. Saekano's MC is more then that though, he is annoying to an extreme degree and doesn't even do anything besides be loud and take advantage of the people around him.

I started the Monogatari at last. Fiinished Bakemono and Nisemono.
I quite enjoy it but it's obvious I miss a lot of the humor/word play so it's not a 100% blast.

It's actually her tryhard personality, a bit fat and combination of Orange hair +purple eyes (bonus cause she's ponytail girl ) that makes her toptier for me.
Reina is wayy too polite and looks similar to kirito for me to like. Headphones girl is boring and the fairy sidekick of MC is irrelevant.

Kouya and Boku dake so entertaining. I love these shows already.
All I know about phantom world girls is that all of them suck except mai and reina. Koito's voice abilities hurt my ear more than it hurt the phantoms.
