thoughts?
Have you seen Clannad? They are both romcom, and from what I've seen, people who enjoy one generally enjoy the other.

Also, I'm not sure if you want to be watching to highschool romcoms back to back. Generally I dislike watching similar shows right next to each other.

Ah well, toradora was my first "slice of life" anime, or whatever the genre is. I never understood the appeal of those shows (seemed very girly) but I ended up enjoying it, and now I'm looking for more.
bring out my soft side TL!

bring out my soft side TL! School Days...the perfect slice of life/romance/comedy show ever <3
Edit: And best ending too.

I just finished Serial Experiments Lain. It was a fun ride, even though it was boring at some parts. It gave me a headache though everytime I watched it, and I still don't compeletely understand what happened. I'll probably rewatch it soon to try and get a better understanding of the show.

TWGOK 80:
+ Show Spoiler +So now they have to search for runaway spirits AND goddesses? This is interesting. Though I guess it's nice that some old girls will reappear.
Edit: Jesus Christ. Twenty-two gigs for the batch torrent of LoGH? I'm gonna need an external HDD sooner than I thought...

Girly slice of life. K-On! and K-On!! Nothing else compares. Edit: Well, at least it's moeified girly slice of life. There are probably better shows if you want something that is more serious.
Done with Full Metal Panic, now watching FMP: Fumoffu. What a genre shift. Still really funny though, but not enough Tessa (Ep 6 so far).

Minami-ke first season for slice of life, or Mitsudomoe.

True, but I actually ended up liking Toradora more than Clannad.
Um.....better ending. K-ON!! actually had a decent ending. Even though it was a slice of life show with no real tangible plot, I thought it was pretty funny and entertaining.
Have you watched Kanon by the way? Same studio that made Clannad too. It was also pretty good.

Aria for true slice of life.

Well, I was hoping that it'd be kinda small since it's older. And I guess it is compared to what it could be.
I will definitely be DLing these one by one. No way am I torrenting all that at once.

I've watched the first few eps of FMP, and does anyone else find Chidori to be mildly annoying?

She becomes less annoying later on (IMO at least) FMP gets kinda boring towards the end of the first season, but the second season is pretty awesome (don't mean Funoffu here) I watched Fumoffu last because I didn't know it was actually the middle season but its no biggie, its more like an OVA anyway and very hilarious.
Speaking of OVAs, just watched the Black Rock Shooter OVA/movie or whatever, I remember osmeone telling me on this forum not to watch, but it was sitting in my anime folder for a few months and I had totally forgotten what it was. I will never go against what people on this forum tell me again! It truly was a barely watchable pile of shit ... with a plot that makes 0 sense.

lolz
I watched 7 episodes of Lucky Star.
....
....
For some reason....I can't stop watching. -__________-x The OP is also ridiculously addicting. Gaaaahhhhh. And the references that were made to other Anime shows made me laugh pretty damn hard (lol at Kanon reference).

If you love the references I suggest you check out Seitokai no Ichizon.

Can't go on past episode 2 in Clannad... the characters and the situations all appear so stereotyped, the main guy already spoke with 3000 differents girl (who already like him for no reasons except the fact he's the main) and the art is absolutely totally plain.
Not to say the mistery chick making random claims for hype reasons. God if i hate this show, it will be hard to go past episode 2 ;_;
Trying to go on episode 3 right now.

School days has the best ending of every anime ever.
