Thanks guys. I guess I'll keep watching as new eps of Uta2 come along (as I find the show fairly entertaining even without knowing until I was 4 eps in that it was a sequel) as well as look into watching the first season ASAP (and maybe try out the games too)

#2 of test platoon 38 now, the biggest surprise is that they give this amazing soundtrack/sound effect D: and that budget on graphics, ok i am going to chase this, story seems ok so far etc. hmmmmm.

LoGH 89 is still one of my favourite eps. It goes from chillingly sad to absolutely adorable. I just wish we got more adorable moments between the two of them.

+ Show Spoiler +All you know see that he was attacked and left for dead. The Kanbaru arc is set after all of the events that will proceed over the next year or so.
I think at this point you will have realised at this point is that Rokka basically engages you exclusvely with its fast pace and plot twists. The plot twists are kinda the character development tool aswell at this point. This isnt the last time you should expect to see plot twists.

+ Show Spoiler + It's left as an open question regarding Kaiki - all we know for certain is that he gets stabbed at the end of the "final boss" business, and later shows up unexpectedly much more athletic in order to impart some information to Kanbaru in the future. I'm not entirely sure if he's actually dead and a ghost (like Hachikuji) or if he was saved by someone later.
Also, speculation regarding Ougi is that she's neither a boy or a girl, but something else. Or at least, that was my speculation then, and it remains so now.
And yeah, Hanamonogatari is well after the other events in the show so far, with Araragi off at college driving that lemon yellow bug. I'm willing to bet he's shacking up with Senjougahara too, in that episode. Or maybe I'm just a victim of wishful thinking.

iirc Initial D was all Eurobeat stuff no ? I think that show is the only thing that can make eurotrash playing in the background tolerable.

Don't know any sites but for shows I regurlarly listen to the OSTs of SAO and Fairy Tail (straight up by far the best thing about both of those shows). I also found the Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex OST amazing but I assume that was more in context. I haven't listened to it without the anime but thinking about it I should at least try it.
For movies go with Joe Hisaishi. He is the composer of a lot of ghibli movies like Princess Mononoke, Spirited Away, Castle in the Sky, Howl's Moving Castle, Nausicaä.... He does some amazing things and plays definitely a huge part in to why ghibli movies have such a great atmosphere. For me he is like the Howard Shore of anime.

Just look at OSTs done by Hiroyuki Sawano or Kajiura Yuki or Yoko Kanno if you want to know who are the most well regarded in regards to tv series.

+ Show Spoiler +It's not left open. Kaiki is the one telling us the story, he can't be dead. The whole arc is about how unreliable Kaiki is as a narrator and how you can't take everything he says or thinks as the truth. I don't really know why people think it was some ambiguous ending there. In fact the beauty of the arc is that it thrusts the unreliability of kaiki in your face so that you start to question just how reliable all the other narrators were so far while giving us perspective of the story we've never seen(An adult) Araragi is with Senjou, Kanbaru even comments on it. He may not be living with her but they still together at least.
