I wonder what's with that girl. Is she just some princess or actually powerful? We'll see I guess. Hope the story is good, then this could be a really good anime! One Punch Man was like I expected. The humour is pretty good and the fighting scenes are nice. I'll keep watching it but I don't think it'll be my fav this season, but perhaps it'll surprise me. | ||

damn, wow, I didn't think they'll kill the King ;; I liked the way he seemed to be questioning everything and thought that maybe, just maybe he'll be the next Colt after their battle but Netero was ready. At this point, I have no clue how they will defeat the royal guards considering they are going into demon mode now T.T Still, sad to see both him and Netero die  wow, scary ;; | ||

Then that 1080p Umineko things was coming out so I thought I would wait but I'll probably go ahead and read it, The thing is an asshole kind a spoiled the culprit for it so that was a major motivation killer. | ||

Aww man, that sucks. I was lucky enough to go through the thing unspoilered. As for Rose Gun Days, I haven't played it myself, a friend of mine played the first episode. He thought it was alright. Apparently it has some weird shooting minigame in it. And the art is much better than typical 07th Expansion stuff. I'm not sure if its all translated though. | ||

Looks like they are all translated by Witch hunt recently.I think ill give it a try and finish umineko when the ps3 thingy finishes up. Do you have any other recommendations on VNs? The only note worthy I read was G-senjou which i hated and Fate which was alright. And inganock which was also alright. I was looking at Subarashiki Hibi | ||

I expected something melodramatic but this is a bleak and quite dark show. The main characters aren't whiny or overly emotional. The world building has been enjoyable so far and the action was pretty good. I am pleasantly surprised. | ||

I was looking at Subarashiki Hibi I haven't read a huge number, but I can tell you what I thought of those I have. You are right to hate G-Sen, that VN sucked so hard. However, by the same developer/writer there is Sharin no Kuni. Its similar to G-Sen, but better in every way. So basically imagine if G-Sen didn't suck, and you'd get Sharin. Its definitely worth a read. Its been forever since I read it, but Ever17 is one of my favorites as well. The first routes are okay/average, but when you get to the final route of the game, it will completely blow your mind. The final route is extremely good. Little Busters is good too. Many people here swear by it, but I'm not as big of a fan of it as they are. The character routes in LB are pretty lackluster and boring. The final route, Refrain, is pretty good though. Its by Key, so it has pretty good production value as far as VNs go, and if you like Keymagic and Feels, then you should like LB. Then there is Rewrite. Its also by Key, but other than also having pretty good production value, its not really Key-like. The main routes are written by Tanaka Romeo, who is a pretty solid writer. One of the routes is also written by Ryukishi07. The character routes in Rewrite are mostly alright, some better than others, but its the final two routes that carry pretty hard in Rewrite. Finally, if you liked Umineko, you could always try out Higurashi. I personal think the Higurashi anime is complete trash, but on the other hand I love Higurashi the VN. Only semi-related, but the Muv-Luv Alternative Kickstarter has been doing great. Its at $545k right now, and 29 days still to go. Its already passed the funding that both Grisaia and Clannad got in only like 10 days. Photon Melodies and Photon Flowers stretch goal doesn't seem too far-fetched now! Hopefully it keeps it up. The Barbatos going all Obaribatos certainly helps the main gripe I had with it, but I still wish someone would give that mobile suit a cheese burger or something, so it doesn't look emaciated. | ||

Maybe I'll pick Owari no Seraph 2nd season, but I didn't enjoy the family/friendship speech from first season... again, for a show about post-apocalypse, feels like its too soft. Heavy Object ep1 didn't please me too much. Thoughts on : 1 - Lance n Masques? 2- Comet Lucifer? 3- K: ... | ||

I started watching the last season and quickly dropped it after figuring that out that everything is just dull, uninspired and plain silly. It looked more like a soft blend of Shingeki no Kyoujin and Tokyo Ghoul while also not telling an interesting story or offering interesting characters. I have no idea why it got as popular as it did... The first episode of "K: Return of Kings" was fairly meh if you ask me. Some of the visuals and animations were amazing, other parts were horrible (mostly CGI and over-the-top color compositions with way too much sparkle). The fanservice was completely without any taste as well... If you don't mind those things and want something without a story to speak of (if the first season is an indicator), you could go for it. It's mostly a more shallow Durarara! with flashy visuals. I will give it another episode to see if that trend holds true, will probably drop it after that though, I cannot imagine them changing their formula... On my watching and plan-to-watch list are currently those: -Owarimonogatari (not much to explain here, so hyped about this) -Utawarerumono (lovely aesthetics, cute female lead and the first season was fairly solid - aside from the ending) -Kowabon (will heavily depend on how well they manage the rotroscope, we'll see) -Subete ga F ni Naru: The Perfect Insider (sounds interesting, haven't seen a good Mystery in a while) -Sakurako-san no Ashimoto ni wa Shitai ga Umatteiru (another Mystery, PV looked good) Might be a bit narrow-minded but I'm going to stay away from most Shounen series unless someone recommends it for me, so I cannot comment on those. | ||
