What creative and original storytelling
Spot on...
//Apparently SAO gets a movie adaption (new original story). I honestly expected a series adapting the next arc first. Do they think they can earn more money by doing a new movie than by doing a sequel series?
No, its just too early to adapt the next season.
Huh? s1 aired second half of 2012 and s2 second half of 2014. It certainly would be a bit early to announce an adaption for the second half of 2016 but the announcement of a movie pretty much kills the an adaption in 2016 right away.
Kancolle announced a series and movie in 2016 after it finished airing winter 2015 Not like there is much need to announce SAO in 2016 when it still sells the most out of any LN besides biblia. I actually think kadokawa has a bit of a problem with sequels.
wow, I'm positively surprised by this. Really good episode and for a first episode it was, hands down, amazing. Managed to introduce us to a decent amount of characters, the villains and the setting while also managed to create an interesting starting point for the story. This accompanied by good action with nice visuals and astounding sound direction. To be honest, out of all things the sound direction was the most noticeble thing for me. Great soundtrack and the use of it+environmental sounds and their volume was just near perfect in every situation and added so much.
There is only one really bad thing I can say about this episode: Why to the hell did they think they needed to throw in a "girl falls into the boy's arms"-scene followed up by an awkward situation due to embarresment of both characters? So unnecessesary, it added nothing. NOTHING. So why? I could rage at so much stupidity, waaah.
Anyways, I'm really looking forward to more. If it can hold up to the first episode then this is going to be great.
First point was counter. It's not like I expect SAO s3 to be in 2016 but I think both the s3 and movie are already both in production so I don't see why it couldn't be announced later.
These high budget series usually take years of production before they are even announced.
Miki says starting 7:12:28 in the above video: "Lastly, there is no season 3 yet for Index. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm very sorry." Miki then bowed multiple times to the audience and even did a prostrating dogeza pose on the stage.
I can see the girl from hataruku maou sama on the thumbnail of the video or whatever it's called... not sure if I want to force myself through 7 and a half hours of video. Was there anything about that or was that just a pic used with famous stuff they're doing?
Nothing about hataraku maou That picture is an advertisement with just some popular dengeki bunko characters. Probably from dengeki bunko fighting climax which is their fighting game
These are the anime announcements 1) tenkyou no alderamin anime 2) accel world anime original ova 3) sao anime original movie
think about it this way. Somewhere out there is probably a doujinshi with a plot along the lines of:
- himeragi and MC spent the night together - they had fun a lot of times - he's not ready to go on once more and says it's his (manhood)"battle" he has to fight - himeragi answers with "IEEE SENPAI, it's OUR fight" and helps out - they continue doing the lewd
and that makes it hilarious if you think about it.
I'd rather have another season of StB than another train wreck adaptation of DxD, Outside of one line that gets uttered every 2-3 episodes or so the rest of the show was entertaining.

If only it wasn't for that one phrase that makes you want to insert sharp objects into your ears...
StB was great. Need LNs. Edit: the cast of girls was good enough that I didn't mind the catch phrase too much.

On another note: Concrete Revolutio's story-telling in ep1 was a mess.
Watched it just now, and yeah I agree. Wasn't entertaining either.
I know we are not on the same page in terms of entertainment but try Comet Lucifer. Imho best first ep for now.

It just wasn't that good. the characters were so fucking stupid, all the time...over and over and over again...the "action" was bland and the baseball was very weak. It's basically Toua being Toua over and over agian...which got stale really fast for me. all in all i gave it 6/10....checked on MAL and it's like 8.5 lol ...mal... lol
The fuck?
There're no more than 3 baseball anime TV series that can be considered similar to or even better than One Outs.

Agreed, the action scenes are so fun to watch. You can literally feel the impact, very well done. I just read the first few chapters again a few days ago (mainly because volumes 1+2 arrived) and in general I thought this was very well adapted, especially the transitions between the chapters were well done imho. Now there have been a few things where I thought they could have chosen a better soundtrack or tone of voice but nothing major. I really hope the rest of it holds up to the first ep.

Will do so soon, and it's just that I can pretty much enjoy any kind of anime. There are exceptions though, like Bikini Warriors or Makura no Danshi from last season, those were insta skip for me. And ofc I also drop some stuff later on, perhaps even those "harem" shows if they get dull.
We aren't always disagreeing in terms of entertainment for sure, since for example (afaik) HxH is your favourite anime as well.

What? You did not enjoy Hentai Warriors or Creepy Shoujo until the very end? What kind of horrible person are you?
But yeah, you are correct, HxH is my favourite show. I forgot it's yours as well. And now that I think about it, your "I can pretty much enjoy any kind of anime" is very much in line with what you have always been writing.^^

Owarimonogatari 1&2 - Gorgeous animation. I liked it. Although c'mon, + Show Spoiler +
Koyomi can't be so blindingly stupid as to not realize Ouigi is not right. At all. At least he caught that it was possible she locked him in there.
All the things that he knows about ougi, most importantly those from nadeko's medusa arc and later on tsukimonogatari didn't happen yet. The medusa arc in particular was the one that ended in araragi + shinobu talking in the classroom being vary of Ougi iirc? Have to check that just to be sure. Ep1 even started out by saying it's literally the first time Ougi + Araragi met.
I'm aware of when it is happening, but upon first time meeting someone that has completely black eyes, immediately knows about apparitions, claims to be related to Oshino, keeps saying things that make you go "oh, I guess I must have said that or been told that even if I don't remember", etc... is incredibly suspicious. Or should be, to someone that's been through everything Araragi has been through.
Also, Ouigi is a short haired girl that carries scrunchies. That's pretty suspicious.
