Yeah its more mystery than action. Bantorra was good because Meseta is a boss but it was pretty miserable plotwise (and made like no sense but whatever Slingshots destroying buildings is cool) | ||

Also everything is explained in the novel (tonnes of foreshadowings that contribute to the ending) thats why I keep saying the anime didn't do the justice for it | ||

Having recently watched Mononoke adds to the enjoyment of the show. The ayakashi in the sea reminded me of the Mononoke arc on the ship. The final killing blow was cool as fuck. Asako has now seen Tora, too, even though she thinks it was a dream or something. I'm a bit worried about how they handle Tora's development. | ||
