give ep1 a try for sure. I think ep2 was good as well and apparently everyone else in here seemed to like it as well but episode1 was just godly. The reveal was done so beautifully
You can just watch ep1 on itself and be done with it.

Gate, dandelion and Ushio to Tora seem like the top 3 anime this season for me. Gate has a lot of potential and with it being 24 episodes, can expand on the world and such. Dandelion is just fun comedy and Ushio to Tora, well, it somewhat reminds me of Naruto at times due to MC: + Show Spoiler +the chemistry between Ushio and Tora is great though

hmm maybe but Another was still more interesting because it wasn't episodic. It was a story that was shrouded by some mystery and horror. Here, it's a kid who gets high off solving mysteries and acting like a detective while remaining completely calm.

For me it's probably something like
GATE > Ushio to Tora > Dandelion > Akagami no Shirayuki > Rokka no Yuusha > Gakkou Gurashi. Though it depends on the episode, all of them so far are enjoyable for me though. Also not entirely convinced on my ranking, but GATE is my favorite for sure.

I still have to pick up Dandelion. I don't have a clear favourite right now. The only thing I can say is that this season is soooooooooooooooooooooooooo much better than last season for me. Ranking atm. would probably be something like this:
Gangsta=Ushio to Tora=Gakkou Gurashi>Gate=JWWW>>>>Overlord=God Eater>Shimoneta>>>>>Venus Project=Umaru-chan>Kuusen>Bikini Warriors=Makura no Danshi
Everything after JWWW I dislike more than I like it and everything after Shimoneta is garbage level.

Dandelion seems pretty boring. Somewhat voicetrap, especially if you like HanaKana but not really a lot besides that and the girls being cute in general. Also they did not deliver with the Truck. All in all pretty boring imo and close to being a drop for me.

Haha, yeah I chuckled when you guys talked about the truck scene. If I'm going to watch it then because of the comedy and nothing else. It's basically the same as with JWWW. I thought JWWW ep2 was hilarious as fuck, I love silly/ridiculous humour. That's why I watched Mikagura and Rolling Girls the last two seasons.
