I like the point Shimoneta's trying to make, but the execution is excruciatingly lame at some parts.

Shirayukihime was fine, if pretty ordinary.

Feels kinda nice not knowing what will happen in Durarara for once.

Overlord was reeeeally slow for a first ep.

The show has a slow start. Honestly I almost stopped watching 5 minutes into the first episode. It is a bit pretentious and artsy at first, so it will be hard to follow early on. It gets better as it goes on though. If you can make it to episode 5 the rest will be more interesting. The overall plot is really well done especially in the middle and toward the end of the series. The pacing isn't the fastest but it is a good thinker Anime. As you might expect you won't find sunshine and rainbows with this series.

Overlord was very slow for a 1st ep but I think this is because they had a shitton of characters to introduce at first. I will keep watching for a least a couple of ep.
