Rokka is most soul crushingly depressing this season by far from what I know, and it's not a SoL.

As for giggles, not sure what kind of comedy you enjoy but......Nichijou, Astro Fighter Sunred, Kuuchuu Buranko, and Tatami Galaxy are all potentially good fun/funny anime, though TG is probably more introspective towards the end but still ends on a pretty light hearted note.

I am glad the whole "I'm/We're so much better than everyone else, watch me/us defeat them in even more ridiculous ways" plotline that I didn't really like about Code Geass, Death Note, and No Game No Life doesn't look like it's going to show up in Charlotte. Overall, I mildly look forward to the next episode.

I finally sat down to watch the Little Witch Academia sequel and I am quite surprised to see that it's almost an hour long, I had assumed it was going to be about 25 minutes like the first one.
