From the PV it seems like the in show concert should be pretty sweet, Satelight does generally deliver on that part. As for the song, no idea. The G one was pretty good. As for Berserk, aside from a few mangas, I much prefer watching the anime. It hasn't let me down either aside from some animation parts but overall, it's pretty good: + Show Spoiler + It was interesting to see Griffith fall so much after Guts left. Guess he's been able to get things his own way all the time that he didn't know what to do after he lost their sword fight. A complete collapse indeed. Also, nice to see Casca finally move from Griffith even if for a bit. She's served him faithfully for such a long time now and tried hard to realize his dream which was going to be achieved through a lot of bloodshed (assassinations, fires etc...). What the anime still hasn't explained yet is how he turned into a snake. His egg was purposely thrown away during his torture so I'm sure that played a role. Music is amazing as well! Couple more episodes and I'll find my answer ![]() Well for me what happens is that watching the anime makes me want to read the source/manga because i want to see how the story continues and its even more relevant with Berserk cause you can say that the anime is just a flashback. The real story for Berserk actually starts after the Golden Age arc (what the anime covered).

screw griffith! Killing almost everyone for his own dream, sad really. Poor Casca and pretty much everyone in the band of the hawks at the end. Can't say much else, anime was good fun but I wasn't a fan of everyone dying aside from Guts. Would've liked for him and Casca to survive at least ![]()

Casca survives but isn't really Casca anymore which is kind of more gutwrenching than if she didn't survive ![]() ![]()

As for Casca, the last episode didn't show her surviving or anything so I just figured she died since we didn't see her make an appearance in the first one when Guts comes to pay Griffith a visit to kill him. That's sad though. So, she just loses it after that or never recovers mentally I take it? Wish the anime showed that instead of nothing.

Wish the anime showed that instead of nothing. + Show Spoiler + I can't give full detail as I haven't read manga only know from talking to people and watching the movies but basically the rape by Griffith impregnates her with some kind of demon spawn baby and mentally breaks her so she's a terrified shell of a person. Think she doesn't speak anymore and freaks out if Guts isn't near by. Don't know if she ever recovers or is just like that forever.

Berserk spoiler (the manga really is pretty great and far better than the anime. The art gets better and better it's actually pretty impressive the amount of detail that goes into it) + Show Spoiler + Casca is raped by Griffith after he becomes one of the 5 godhands. He's a big monster and he spreads Casca out and rapes her infront of guts as demons hold Guts back and he watches. He struggles to the extent that he brutally chops off his own arm in an attempt to get closer to the two. Afterwards, Casca is mentally destroyed and afraid of everything and can't speak or really do anything. Griffith drops the mic and peaces out on them like, "yo I just raped the person you love and am pretty much a god, pce. It's pretty brutal.

The anime never went into Afterwards for Casca though, only showed Guts out to get Griffith. Still, his conversion to godhood was something. Rewatched the first bit of the anime and couldn't even recognize him at all.

Guts killed a random snake guy who was somehow related to Griffith, but was more like his subordinate. Honestly, I have no idea why you even thought the Snake guy is Griffith.
