@Slaughter - Fan theories often contain spoilers since they use subject matter in the story to base the theory around. Shouldn't be a surprise to you.
This theory doesn't use anything from the story to spoil tho.
the fact that he got a fireball in itself is already a spoiler to people who only watched the first episode and planned to marathon it later on, not something anyone would lose his shit about but technically speaking it is a spoiler...
I don't really think it's bad either but I've been asked multiply times by Elem and Souma not to spoil OreGairu for them when all I did was randomly write out "LOL IROHASU" in irc or something along those lines. Or Elem getting angry about Ice posting the LN cover for the next LN and we started speculating about the cover-pic. He said "lol, looks like Iroha is out of it judging from that pic" or something along the lines and I said Yui looks sad, so maybe she's out. There was no basis to it whatsoever but it still annoys people if they care about it and don't know wether or not something is a spoiler or not.
Some LN covers are pretty big spoilers if you have paid any attention to the story. Blade Dance and DxD are latest offenders I've read with that. I would say it tells you characters stay alive at the most basic level but lol a LN actually killing off characters? Please.

plz padawan, you still have a long way to go
Edit: I edited Slaughter's post, just in case. But in reality, it's more of "did you wiki some of these charas names...? hmmm"
Wasnt speaking towards Slaughter's post, was just in general to in case someone wanted to answer about the Freya/Grimoire part.
From a speculation pov, I really hope Syr plays a bigger role than just "the maid".
Edit: LN or Manga spoilers about on-going anime are totally fine with me, as long as its tagged as so.
idk, feels like a lot of tiptoeing. You brought up firebolt first, you just happened to miss the Freya connection. Yet we're supposed to spoiler this convo for some third party, etc etc. Either way, some thread wide rules should be agreed upon and implemented.
IMO if I accidentally spoil the original Mobile Suit Gundam for someone, and say something like Char tricks Garma into going into an ambush, people can get over it, its been 36 years, I'm pretty sure there is a statute of limitations on this stuff. Although if it something relatively recent, then people should probably spoiler their posts.

Tetsujin 28 came out in 1963, so 53 years on that one. Spoilers, Tetsujin beats up the other robots, oh no I spoilered a 50 year old cartoon. The oldest I've personally watched is Zambot 3, which was 1977. Its also pretty good, IMO people should watch it.

Pft, Anime OPs and EDs are the biggest spoilers you'll ever see for series, and no one has an issue posting them and watching them over and over...

So yeah, let's agree on how long for statues? I don't mind complying for people but I don't want to spoiler everything.

Honestly I'd put it at something like 5 years, with an addendum saying "Don't be a dick".
I don't see the point of an arbitrary "statute of limitations". There are people who plan to watch certain old shows, so I dunno why spoiling them would be okay.
