Ika Musume and lol Pretty entertaining so far heh only first two episodes though I'm really not a fan of the plot to be honest... the premise is somewhat interesting but the plot is meh... + Show Spoiler + Al is awesome and Mardukas is the best XO ever. That aside, the conclusion to FMP was weird. So the evil plot was to create a new "ideal" world, then destroy the old one? Frankly, it came off as kinda lame, especially considering that the villains' motivations basically boiled down to "my life sucked". The whole thing with Sofia was kinda meh. I did find it interesting that her personality still remains in Kaname, but I guess it won't really be a plot relevant point anymore... By the way, it's difficult to picture Sousuke as a shy highschool boy. The image just seems wrong in every way. =/ It took twelve novels for them to kiss. New record? ![]() Kurz surviving was a horrible, horrible cop out. I mean, Nami is tragically killed but Kurz somehow gets magically healed? I am not pleased. Heck, even Clouseau got saved by some deus ex when he had his AS literally get split in half. And then there's Yang in the previous novels... I assume all the unexplained stuff like the relationship between Leonard and his mother are in the short stories? I still liked Burning One Man Force the best out of all the books in this series. Can't beat that ending. Now all I need is season 3...

I really enjoyed anime like Gundam Seed, Hikaru no Go, Beck, Hajime no Ippo, but lately I've only been watching One Piece.

Code Geass is pretty cool, I found the "non of this ethical bullshit holding characters back" approach a welcome change.

+ Show Spoiler [FMP novels] + Spazer, so I was right and they in fact didn't cover the thing with Leonard and his mother in the long stories? I kind of recall they mentioned some stuff, but I am not completely certain on exactly what. Will have to reread if I want to see. Yang is just supposed to be unkillable even if it is kind of silly how he lived through like, everything. In fact the SRT folks even mentioned that as the thing he 'specializes' at other than operating vehicles. Otherwise he was like one of the weakest members on the squad. I agree though, it was kind of lame for the author to miracle up all these when he just killed Nami like that. On the other hand, it was fun to see Mao's motivational speech. One thing though, I think the way that things end up working like that was done to serve as a foil what we were shown before that, not quite done for weak reasons. The plot wasn't so much to create a new world as it is to migrate over. I was actually fine with that because of the amount of people they have convinced and working for them in spite of knowing the details. With the 3 guards of Leonardo being the most important ones (granted we don't hear the reasons for one of them ever) after Kalinin. To me, it was interesting to see how they have reached a cultist level of fervor in believing that they are righting the world. While the basic motivation does boil down to what you have, to be able to go on like that is nonetheless impressive after a fashion. Oh and in a way bungaku shoujo semi beats FMP's count, 8vols main story 3vols ss 3vols gaiden numerous uncompiled short stories...then finally the one vol about the ending you saw in movie. I want that book to release nowwwww~ On November 17 2010 15:08 Blasterion wrote: Yosuga no Sora 07- I am not enjoying this arc much... for strange reasons Nao just doesn't appeal to me Ciel. Jimiko. The only thing Always Stand By Me said about Leonard's mother is that cryptic line implying that Tessa knows she "did something". I can't remember if anything of note was said when Tessa and Leonard were visiting the graves of their parents, but I don't think it was anything significant. It turns out that the guy who translated the last novel also did some of the short stories, so I'm gonna be busy over the next few days. ^^ Edit: You know, it's kinda funny that Nao swims considering that... drag inducing body of hers.
