Thought some dialogues were pretty nice, introduction of Sinon was quite nice. Animation was ok'ish. I can't believe that they gave Kirito a...female???? avatar though. I don't even know whether it's female or male that is supposed to look female. That scene when Sinon found out he was male. I can't understand how he deserved that slap. But whatever.
Some really unnecessary tit and leg shots. I mean, Sinon's outfit is hot but that shouldn't be the point of the anime... It's also weird at the same time. I mean, who would wear something like that, lol.
Then Kirito's completly weird acting towards Sinon? What the fuck, you are supposed to love Asuna. teh. A friend of me and I joked about a love-triangle while watching. Then the things with the nurse and so on. So unnecessary, but oh well.
In the end, I didn't expect Kirito to meet Death Gun that early into the series. But I like the fact that he is someone from the laughing coffin from aincrad. Overall solid set up imho.

Man, this episode had it all. glorious action, OST, character development, emotions, and it ended with the awesomest cliffhanger ever where i might get to see Yunna vs Tougou.
Yuuna's breakdown shows that she had actually been on a big hero complex rather than actually championing heroism and that was amazing. Seeing that she couldn't rely on Tougou was well executed. Even her resolve was broken.
There were so many scenes that seemed small yet were so important to the characters. Seeing karin look at her phone right before the last fight or when Itsuki tried to talk to Fuu but nothing came out.
And Karin's badass moment was on another level. You just want to cheer her on but then you realize what she's putting on the line and you want her to stop.
I need to rewatch this series on blu-ray when it comes out just to pick up all the foreshadowing moments that were implemented in the whole series. Also, it would be awesome to see it with better animation.

Yes it was S1 and it wasn't really, all it was Basically Kirito's "sister" (actually cousin) started to develop the feels for her bro but she knew it was wrong and that he had Asuna so she tried to forget him and ended up falling for his guy she met in game (who happened to be Kirito rofl). So she got double fucked by falling in love with the same dude she can't have twice.

At some point his "sister" realised she loved Kirit. But only when she got to know that Kirito wasn't her real brother.
