I'd say the only thing this season is missing is the really long philosophical banter that season 1 had and that lowers my opinion of it a lot. because at the end of the way, you got to ask... What is the point of psycho pass 2? The philosophical banter was so dumb though...>__> *Stuart Mills quote* "Ah. Yes. I know Stuart Mills. I knew you would say that. The series would've been so much less lomo without the random and completely irrelevant name dropping and the I HAVE ALL OF JEREMY BENTHAM MEMORIZED FOR JUST THIS OCCASION :3 User was warned for this post

Well, that's for me. I prefer all the metaphorical / abstract stuff rather than for things to be direct. I don't necessarily agree with what they say, it's just more lomo and more up my alley sort of thing since i think philosophy/methodology speaks a lot about a person.

Except for the main character. + Show Spoiler + Assuming the couple is dead, if they revive them in typical anime fashion for the 2nd season, then the series goes straight to garbage tier.

+ Show Spoiler + Did people really believe they'd kill him off though? I mean sure it would've been neat if they actually had the balls to kill them off, but slaine couldn't carry the show on his own and the rest of the cast seems fairly incompetent if you compare them to Mr Eggs.

While it should be obvious he is alive, seeing as this is the same anime that "killed" Asseylum 3 times in the same season but not really, Inaho did get shot in the head, which lead some people who expected a well thought out plot from the anime (for some reason) to conclude he was dead.

+ Show Spoiler + And i mean, slaine did have to empty an entire mag the first time he shot someone. Maybe he's just really bad at hitting anything vital. I kind of hoped he'd stay dead but assumed he'd live considering the constant death/revival of the princess, however after the interview with urobutcher and co. about the story and it seemed pretty much confirmed that they'd all live. But yeah, i kind of liked the idea and concept for Aldnoah(Strong mechs vs weak mechs and humans having to rely on creativity/ingenuity, a kind of "Humanity, fuck yeah!" feeling) but i felt the execution was kind of lacking in the end.

Closest example I can think of is captain Harlock. Him and the martian pleb girl could carry this on with some decent character progression. Feck, I need to write a manga, too bad I can't draw. Anyone up for a partnership a la bakuman? I'm really enjoying Parasyte, my favorite anime of this season! I guess people don't like the dubstep, but I actually think the soundtrack is quite good minus that, and it's not exactly a dealbreaker for me to have dubstep lol. I definitely recommend checking it out, I think you figure out pretty quickly whether you'll like it or not, doesn't suffer from a slow start like so many other anime. edit: whoops :D Ok thank you two. I guess I will give it a shot as soon as I find some time for it. On the PP discussion: I enjoyed the philosophical banter a lot. I didn't care so much for the random name dropping but more for the phrases themselves. I like to think about those lines and the philosophical questions asked in PP, quote or not, are really interesting to me. I think the debates about their world was THE thing that made me enjoy PP as much as I did. I also never got the vibe of "I KNEW you would say that so I have prepared this line".

Too many deathflags for the main girl ? Probably just useless drama for future episodes right...
