Basara, the main character, is a selfish cunt for the most part, which is really grating early on. It also looks like shit, and has a slow start. However, eventually things get really cool, and also really crazy. Like for example, this is a climactic turning point in Macross 7: + Show Spoiler + Remember that episode of Frontier, where Miguel flies Ranka into a battlefield, and shes singing in the robot's hand and shit to stop the fight? In Macross 7, things like that happen almost every episode. They pilot their Valkyries while singing Rock music at the same time, and eventually start fighting these giant Lovecraftian Horrors with their "Song Energy" (I'm serious). If you have ever watched the original or DYRL, Max and Milia make a returning appearance in this anime as well. | ||

edit: ok i changed my mind i think macross 7 has as much as trashy scenes as in Macross Frontier now (or more) rofl, macross 7 happened far too long ago my memory sucks (i think i skipped alot of scenes in Macross 7). but macross frontier is 'prettier' though. | ||

Grisaia 3 was ok, Red head pretty straight forward lol and the loli is already acting like a little sister. I like that the maid character likes sharks lol. It did seem a bit disjointed but its pretty enjoyable overall and I am really curious wtf is the backstory to this weird little group. And of course UBW: Kirei being Kirei and next week is the Beserker fight! Good shit. | ||

wow, I thought Mine was dead when the frog caught her but once she said she won't, I figured she'll be fine. Kurome has one hell of a crazy imperial arms. Raising the dead especially with that mega monster, damn. At least Bols died from his own weaponry but I do wonder if this means the end for Leone though she can probably escape that big explosion. Good fighting episode though and can't wait to see how they finish kurome if they do next episode. Also, too many death flags raised with all the confession thoughts or make the one responsible take responsibility lol.
