I haven't been advanced further than the first episode yet :/ I'm hoping to get through another 2 episodes but I'm not sure yet. Don't worry, I'll update once I watch a couple more ^^ You mise well watch them by arc since you said you only want to watch a few per day. Most are 2 or 3 episodes per mini story. just to clarify, you're saying watch them by arc, right? I thought every series(4 of them far as I know) are about a character but guess I was mistaken lol.
like already mentioned, it is several short stories per series. I said it doesn't have a story and that's an exaggeration (kind of?) but you certainly don't watch it because of the story (hint: it's because Senjyougahara <-> Koyomi interactions or anything else really but those two just stand out the most)
Episodes 1 and 2 make up for the first part of Hitagi crab, a quick introduction to get the theme going. Episodes 3 to 5 are the next one I think and they're going to be bloody boring if you're not used to it yet. You'll like those episodes later on if you do like the series but I don't think you'll like them on your first watch. Episodes 6 and onwards is where shit hits the fan and at the same time you've gotten used to the weird setting of the show and you can't stop watching because it's so damn interessting to listen to.
At least that's what it's been for me. So if you can make it to episode 5 do that, if you can't episode 3 or 4 will suffice as well, that's midarc but you'll probably need pauses inbetween anyways because it's so fricking boring at first. But than again, you managed to pull through School Days and the first 7 episodes of that were way more boring...
Oh also make sure to watch all 15 episodes. If you've legally downloaded it from trustworthy sites that shouldn't be a problem. If you're watching it on various streaming sites chances are not all 15 episodes are going to be up there and the last ones will be missing. At least what my experience was with it.

What? There are 15 episodes in Bake???? Now I am paranoid I didn't see the last 3 because Hulu only has 12 listed.

I can't tell if that was a joke but I guess it is quite likely that streaming services can miss the dvd only episodes.

Is the new movie subbed somewhere? Can't seem to find it myself.

No. It's not subbed. Probably will have to wait till Spring/Summer of this year to get it.

Reading some of the summaries to those episodes doesn't clear it up for me either. I remember certain events that they describe but others I don't.

Also for the love of God don't skip OP's and EDs no matter what. If you skip any of those I'll come over to your place, shoot you in the dick with a gun & bullets so tiny it only hurts like hell and cut your balls off with a rusty knife afterwards. They're all pretty amazing in their own way, except for Kanbaru's I guess.

Singling out Kanbaru? Now, now, there's nothing wrong with her OP.

TV-only ends with Crab.
The extra 3 episodes actually resolves Cat's arc + Show Spoiler +. If you watched Mayoi Jiangshi in S2 and didn't go 'wtf?' at the premise then you've seen all 15.
EDIT: Talking about OPs, vote for Crab's second OP as most forgettable.
Also watched first episode of Nourin. Is the idol girl a Rei-clone? Didn't continue because Dota.

No she is not Rei clone at all.

Although i have another opinion over OP's. You need to listen to each one of them but i personally had problems with the OP for the snake and the snail. It annoyed me fucking badly.

That is why you never liked the cat since she had a full 360 reversal on personality since Bake.
Or maybe you didn't like the cat since she mediocre well that is fine.

I liked nadeko's and Hachikuji's was different enough to be interesting no matter if I liked it or not, Kanbaru's OP was just boring imo.

@Eca: Yeah that would be helpful since I was planning to rewatch them at some point anyway. Maybe I'll try chronological order over broadcast this time.

Aren't all the comments on nyaa about how terror that ass file was?

Chinese too terror... 90% time it's easier to find Chinese subs than raw, often within 2 hrs.

Reminds me, cam rip never made it to the net? I mean, the guy next to me recorded the whole thing but I guess he kept it for himself.

Never saw one, though not sure if want Shiki in cam rip.
What's kinda funny is that they had to make a special to compensate how bad they fucked up Boukyaku Rokuon.
