I'm guessing they're not going to get to that point by the end of the first season since they haven't even begun to explore how they got there in the first place. I sincerely hope LH has been getting enough views for NHK to keep going or maybe for another studio to pick it up?
Lol looks like next episode finally sees the return of the loli ninja.
+ Show Spoiler +The difference between rudy and a common adventurer is that a common adventurer has like 3 classes of job, 0=adventurer, 1 and 2 are something else but Rudy's 0=local, 1=sorcerer, 2=adventurer (such a big disadvantage to play in this game/world lol). He probably won't be able to leave the game since his default class is local people. i am more interested in knowing how the hell he managed to be a sorcerer in the first place. there's all kinds of NPS in MMORPG's and they resemble classes as well. Doesn't sound too odd for some NPC who CAN do magic to have the sorcerer subclass as long as he doesn't get the adventurer class. NPC-mages really don't sound strange, nor do NPC-warriors or whatever else. But did they not say the NPC version of job classes are weaker etc but his spells are quite powerful. I don't think that matters anymore ever since they figured out that the world can be changed. The lore behind NPC's probably isn't just lore but actually "happened" and that's the explanation how some NPC's are stronger, like those famous knights, whatever they were called. I mean it's probably just like how Thrall in WoW is super strong as well despite being an NPC and usually you think of it as a given setting that you can't change. You either are Thrall or you're a breadselling boy in the streets or Orgrimmar but that doesn't make sense anymore as it can't just be like a recursion anchor that sets things and nothing else to be expected.
It is the whole "you can cook stuff that tastes like something / you can invent new machines" thought all over again. I mean I could be wrong on this, I'm not reading the LNs, it's just my take on it.

All I have to say about ACSR is that Misaka is a boss, Last Order and Uiharu are adorable, Saten is nice, and Kuroko can pretty much die in a fire for all I care. I liked Harumi Kiyama too lol the standard scientist who is a common sense moron. Was fun stuff when they were in the actual story arcs and not the fillers. Oh did I mention Kuroko can go die in a fire? That annoying personality combined with that voice really makes you resent her, even if she isn't actually particularly bad.

I just started, and dropped Eureka Seven Ao, what the hell kind of cashgrab is this? They wait 8 years to make a sequel and it's nothing like the first one, at all. Hell only thing in common is that Eureka can be seen a couple times as a memory. Embarassing and I want my time back for those 7 episodes I could stomach...
With that said, the original Eureka Seven series is one of the best things ever to come out of Anime.

I read up on the series and I have a strong feeling that I already know who it will be (if they ever actually go there). Maybe the anime will go for an original ending?

I think you've missed the point of long running harems, nothing ever happens and thats the point. You either enjoy the execution or you dont..
+ Show Spoiler +I think someone pointed out, I just keep reading the manga out of inertia but it hasnt really gone anywhere for the past 6 odd months.

^ well, I already acknowledged that any developments would take 50 episodes or something which is quite a bit and seems fair I think. I mean, how long can this anime possibly last? 50 episodes? 100 episodes? I can't see it going into 100+ episodes since I can only guess they are using several manga chapter per episode and would eventually surpass the manga? I'm only speculating though. I do like the execution so far so I'll probably keep watching knowing full well that we won't get major plot developments anytime soon. Recent episode did have some small development imo(spoiler)

It's not naruto or dbz or has that level either lol. Latest episode, + Show Spoiler +Kirisaki told Onodera and her friend that her relationship with Ichijou isn't true and that it's a fake due to their families. Unless they both forget this information next episode, that's quite a big development imo since it opens up other options. I guess this can be used to just keep adding more characters and prolong the series as well.

The thing about long running harems is that they run out of fresh ideas pretty quickly and the lack of any romantic progress begins to grate on the reader. I guess the plan is "well we have them sucked in for this much, now they have to keep reading just incase we ever do something!". Harems need to be short to medium length.
Harem anime NEVER last long so I doubt Nisekoi will even go beyond 26 episodes.

With that said, the original Eureka Seven series is one of the best things ever to come out of Anime. Yeah the original was quite good (improved only if they got rid of those damn little kids... I don't care how much they're there for character development, still annoying as hell).

They can add several characters, tease us a bit then finally end it in an episode or two lol. Maybe I should read the manga if it sounds like you can kinda figure out what direction he'll go from it

Na I am just saying I think that they have dropped plenty of hints at who the girl he made the promise to was. Fuck if I know who he will choose (with this length he better fucking choose). The anime already has me saying throughout it "fuck this is standard issue romance drama". That could just be me having watched too many harems though and become jaded on the genre or that Nisekoi lacks an additional interesting element and none of the characters are especially fresh or interesting.

Guys, this is the harem genre...
If the main girl isn't spelled out with a billion cherry blossoms and a slow-mo introduction in the first 5 minutes/few pages, then the story will have a complete non-ending. "Development" is a synonymous with cocktease. And harem is synonymous with cockblock...
It's actual amusing how terrible newer entries in the genre are...I mean something like Ichigo 100% was generic bleh when it came out, but if it had come out now it would almost be edgy critique.

^ so, unless I'm mistaken, you're saying that Nisekoi will have him choose no one in the end?

Regardless, I'm hoping that he chooses someone in the end as well.

No, saying it'll be a complete non-ending. Like most harem.
Edit: Of course, I don't actually follow the series. But harem are generic enough that you can bet on the ending with good odds.

Nisekoi: + Show Spoiler + Go team baseball! Go team Chitoge!
So far the only things I like about Nisekoi are that the MC clearly likes one girl more than the other (for now?) and the harem didn't grow into eight thousand members (looking at you, Infinite Stratos). Other than that....
I'll still watch it for the awesome OP and Shaftiness. And sorta Chitoge. But really I'm pretty disappointed.
