Or in other words T-M now has a development cycle of 5 to 10 years and doesn't shy away from reminding us that. We'll see that Tsukihime remake by 2018 at this rate.
5-10 year development cycle, and then no voice acting. IDK how they can even manage that.

Anime? There has been talk/rumors (lol) of a Tsukihime remake and/or Tsukihime 2 for a really long time now, but all we have gotten for it are new character redesigns for something.
It is so much harder to hate on just Curry with those bishie new looks, I might actually have to bitch about the scenario itself!
Yeah, it good that they made Curry actually look female now, but I still will hate her forever because of Melty Blood.
Overall I like all the redesigns, as they are either just flat out better (Curry) or just updated. I have mixed feelings about Aoko's new design from Mahoyo (She looks really hot! But she also doesn't look like Aoko at all), but I don't really have any with at least the 3 main girl's new designs.

Well the presentation from Mahoyo was freaking godly, I can't even fault the low amount of plot that much, that's how good the presentation was.
Don't worry about Aoko's appearance, it fits her personality back then. Besides, a lot of her from Melty isn't exactly official even with the endorsement from T-M, easily retcon'd. The question is more how personality went from Mahoyo to MB. Unless you are talking about her future warrior look thing at the end of Mahoyo, then that's a rather different matter. I know part of that look was supposed to be based off the MB look from what the artist said but...lol.

Her design in Melty was "official", right? Aoko without her red hair is just... I can't see her as the same character.

The red hair thing is just a byproduct of her abilities, kinda like Akiha. At Mahoyo's point she has yet to become that OP destruction machine.
If we want to talk about retcon of looks we should be looking at Touko lol.

To be fair, everyone and their mom is somehow managing that.

Yeah, those two ending up together made it seem a little sad even which made it even better. Would of just assumed it would be Nagase in the end, but because it wasn't I liked it more. Though... I do like Nagase.

And then they made it even worse with the cliche bullying.
And then it got even worse with Taichi getting hit by that thug (Also, what the fuck Inaba. When someone gets hit in the head with a metal pipe, you call an ambulance).
So all in all, the story was a cheesy mess. At least cynical Iori was a delight.

On another note I just discovered Nana Mizuki (late I know) any good songs I should know about?
Eternal Blaze, Shin Ai, Orchestral Fantasia, Pray, and Astrogation are most commonly seen in top 5 of fans' lists. Power Gate and Super Generation are the most audience-orientated songs, so to speak (watch a live version and you'll understand). Though, a lot of her songs in 2012 have been really strong and she just released a new album so I'm not sure how the fan base has shifted its opinions, if at all. The entire album was really good. Bright Stream was probably the highlight of the year though, since Nanoha A's movie, got 100k sales, and sung at Kouhaku.
Hard to say specifically which album songs are good; I'm going to need to hear the live versions from Grace II and summer live before finalizing opinions but Yakusoku is a ridiculously strong ballad from her. LINKAGE is my favorite. Personally, I don't like Lovely Fruit but it's popular for some reason. Literally everything except Darling Plastic (and imo Lovely Fruit) is above average for her.
A lot of her popular songs are anime related so like Hime Murasaki (VERY underrated), Innocent Starter, Brave Phoenix, Phantom Minds (okay, just all the Nanoha songs), Synchrogazer, Discotheque, Dancing in the Velvet Moon (cause R+V only good for Nana songs), etc. so I guess you can just look her up on MAL for all her anison related songs (incidentally, Kouhaku announcer actually called her Queen of Anison on national TV \o/). But even non-anime songs are good; just less popular due to not getting attention from the anime. Though, almost everything prior to like 2005 (Eternal Blaze) is not that great. There're a few good ones like Power Gate, but a lot of it just so subpar compared to her more recent works. Of course, then she throws rearrangements at me and it's like omg what is this amazing music. (i.e. Live Grace rearrangement of undercover).
edit: lol nagi. I'm so proud of you. oh also I guess my signature needs to be changed =/

I agree it does leave people with alot of question marks but theres no real way to avoid that at this point. LN is available and pretty short. Shouldnt be a problem for anyone who cares enough.

I'm disappointed, Kaze. If it was me, and someone asked about JAM Project, I would have spammed a million Youtube links.
