If you come in here looking for "anime recommendations" then please refer to this chart before posting: Anime Recommendations (as of may 2014). We also have an IRC channel called #tladt where we all hang out. The channel is on Rizon, not QuakeNet! Feel free to check it out. TLADT discord is Discord.gg

For currently airing anime, please see Anichart.net

Holy fuck. Zetsuen No Tempest is one of the most enjoyable anime's I've ever watched so far. The storytelling, atmosphere, and music are all top notch. Highly recommend for pretty much anyone.

My friend says he loves that anime a lot because it closely resembles Guilty Crown.

Naturally I would want to watch it, but Im scared to flag any deaths for any cute girls. If anything Ill prolly marathon it when its over and if it gets a couple good reviews.

Allegedly the VN is real good, but the anime adaptation is not.*

Chaos head was okay, but nowhere nears stein's level
Robotic; notes looks promising, but probably won't be as good as steins
All in my opinion of course

never played a visual novel actually, it seems you guys like to do that alot, should also give one a try
also, i watched mirai nikki and higurashi, they score pretty high on my list, madoka magica is 12 episodes and is similar to them ha? right, time for a 4 hour marathon :D

Finished ergo proxy. Really enjoyed it. Kind of hard to follow though. Really good if you like sci/fi or psychological animes.

Ehhhhh. I wouldn't call them similar at all. The only thing they have in common is mild relation to + Show Spoiler +
time travel
.

Also C;H has negative rep cos a lot of people have only watched the anime, which is relatively bad. The VN is much better so enjoy.

Also gj dudeman, Ergo Proxy so good. :D

You should watch Texhnolyze if you watched Ergo Proxy.

Funny I really liked Ergo Proxy, but have a ton of trouble with Texhnolyze. It was like I can see it's good, I just don't enjoy it, and it wasn't even the plot / mood as I it's usually my thing.

I'm the opposite. I wasn't impressed at all by Ergo Proxy.

IT BEGINS.

I agree though the mood is really similar if you enjoyed that. It's like THE NEXT LEVEL. I loved both still though

I think the first season of SAO had some good social commentary there. You don't usually have that in shows that are designed terrible from the get-go.
I was supposed to prepare for a couple exams the other day but ended up marathoning through Gundam AGE, it was pretty good, but disappointing at the same time. With small changes it could've been just great.
I thought about other Gundams to watch and settled with Zeta while waiting Turn A Gundam to torrent itself. I considered the original but I think I draw the line with animation quality somewhere above that. Anyway, Zeta seems fine without any prior knowledge.
This season Psycho-Pass is the most interesting show I think. Then Robotics:Notes although it seems terribly slow paced.
Onii-chan Daikedo was hilarious at first, don't know why, then it turned into this run of the mill harem. K & Code:Breaker came off as terribly cheesy. Will probably give Zetsuen no Tempest a chance.

How far you watched tex? It's pretty trippy at start but raises it's glorious head after that.

As far as the original Gundam goes, its not the prettiest thing ever, but the Movie Trilogy does look better than the TV series, and lots of people think the movie trilogy is the way to go for the original.

What else do you expect when the best thing in the show is Pino.

These episodes feel like they're only 10 minutes long. Wtf man, zzzzzzzz. Having to wait weekly is literally killing me.

Well chuu2 seemed like a good show but it regressed pretty quick.
Rest go in the dumpster after reading the name and description.
