Do you even realise what the anime is supposed to be? If you were looking for some lingering plot to tie it all together in Mushishi I don't know why you even watched the anime, really. That is not what it is about.
Not to mention I was speaking from an objective point of view. Hence why I mentioned LoGH. I "only" gave it a 9 cause Kazehydra is a fishfingering cunt who spoiled me about a big event in the series and made the experience a lot less enjoyable, but I would never for a second deny that it is a masterpiece. I don't think even Emnjay would deny such a thing.
Lastly, poke out for discussion? You should really consider another approach than coming with a painfully negative view like that. I'm all up for discussing things even if people have a negative view but for that you must do something other than just spit on things. Oh come on. Are you telling me Mushi shi was perfect. And anyone who doesnt say its a masterpiece must be batshit crazy?!. Mushishi wasent even complete. Perfect! Masterpeice! Sorry some people dont throw that shit around too easily. All you've been arguing is how dumb I am for giving Mushi shi a 9/10 over a 10/10. Echo, Maxie, Shauni all must be idiots too then I guess. I find it funny you have yet mention at all why you gave Howls moving castle a 10 tho which was the fucking main thing I was talking about. Way to sidestep any point. Read my posts again. Carefully. I do not give a shit about what you score things, I care about why you think it isn't. The only issue Mushishi had for me was that it suffered from a severe case of sameface. Though for me, considering that they in the end are just random plot devices, it didn't mean much at all. And nothing is flawless. Nothing at all. Get that image out of your head. The idea of a masterpiece is that the few flaws it has are irrelevant to enjoyment/use of the product. There were disparities between the quality of some episodes. For example the first episode was exactly one of the weaker episodes. Ya it was pretty but that was about it. Some parts of the show were needlessly drawn out and boring while others seem to suffer a bit from only being 20 mins long. Also it was plain incomplete. A show being episodic doesn't mean it cant have any closer or alittle continuity. for example Dr.Who. Again the flaws are nitpicks and objectively judging the series for what it is Its really really good. But a masterpiece in my opinion needs to be complete and done. But Ill retract my statement and say I have no problems with mushi shi being called a masterpiece. But I really wasn't trying to argue that in the first place. Was it so hard to explain why you do not personally believe it is a masterpiece? If you'd said so from the start I'd saved a lot of frustration and time. As for incomplete, it did not need to be completed. The final episode was a good closer all things considered. You got a meaningful "final" rare glimpse into his past. Ginko will continue wandering and researching/dealing with Mushi until he dies. While it would be cute as hell and a good end if he ended up with Suzu (from ep 15, Pretense of Spring) or Tanyuu (Ep 20, A Sea of Writings) it was not a necessity to have a romance in the series. There was no need for "special" closing. If there was some minor plot heading forward during the episodes, I'd agree. But some episodes have months or years time during them and between them. And you weren't trying to? Wierd, cause you were pretty darn adamant about it. No. I was saying in that to me a masterpeice is near perfect made show/story for what it is. You responded by saying a masterpiece in your definition is "the idea of a masterpiece is that the few flaws it has are irrelevant to enjoyment/use of the product." so I was just acknowledging your idea and stating that I have no problem people calling it a masterpiece if they view it that way. Tho having closure/ being longer would probably raise the enjoyment of the series.
The main thing was about motherfucking howls castle which I was most curious about yet you still never said a thing about why you think its great.

I'm not too fussed about people not liking Howl. It happens a lot. For me I simply liked the characters, the music, the setting, and I'm a sucker in general for Ghibli/Miyazaki. I do not have too much interest in arguing about it, really. Especially not after this awful spectacle.

ZNF, quick someone tell what it is :O

No, I'd probably end up bothering to give you a fleshed out explanation. it's midnight here though and I'm drained already from having to deal with you regarding Mushishi. So for now I don't bother to elaborate.
But I'll say that Howl + Yuujinchou are the only ones of out my 10s thatI do not from a purely objective viewpoint believe are masterpieces. They get me in a different way, especially emotionally which results in a 10/10 score.

Pffft... the whole argument is dumb. I like Last Exile more than most people and I'd never fault someone rate it 9 instead of 10. Now, if you say the same for Nanoha A's on the other hand, I'd have to blast your face with mecha grade beam cannon until otherwise.

I said multiple times that I do not give a shit about what someone rates something. I'm only interested in the reasons why.
Edit: Ergh, I'm getting more agressive than I'd like to be right now. Good night.

When people are done we can go back to more interesting topics like bitch Sophie manipulating Calcifer and smacking Howl around like the boss that she is. Too bad Miyazaki couldn't really do that aspect of the source that made the original material so entertaining.

Won't take you long.
Only the first book is Howl's, 2nd and 3rd are just in the same world involving mostly the same characters and give us more amusing abuses and family fights.

Has anyone watched Perfect Blue? Or like it? My favorite kind of anime.

You're a nutjob, A's was the worst season of Nanoha.

They're like 200 pages each with generous spacing super short. They were like kids books :3

Not sure if troll but look at his name and you will understand.
Regarding Nanoha A's, I thought it was on par with the other two seasons (ok I watched the movie instead of the first season, if that matters).
