Well, Futayo didn't really get smacked around, in term of pure action there actually wasn't alot missing, but mostly Futayo's monolog, about how using siege weapon to protect instead. Same can be said of Futayo vs Muneshige, it's just action without any context, leave it feeling empty.

Second half of the OST is out as well and it's awesome, though, so always something nice.
What about Season 1? Did the BD add any extra content?
In term of minutes/hours, how much more do we get with the BD?

S1 wasn't a lot, but episode 11 got quite a bit longer.

Same can be said of Futayo vs Muneshige, it's just action without any context, leave it feeling empty. She wasn't exactly having an easy time during those monologues though, and there was quite a bit before she got the first pair of arms off and quite a bit after that too where Gin had the offensive edge. Anime kind of just makes it a really onesided looking beatdown. But yeah, no context sucks.
Still, nothing in comparison to how Shiro got fucked by animation all season 2. Also Tres Espana in general kinda got screwed in how all the losses look pretty bad so far, Taka and Filipe Segundo got shafted hard. I was hoping for the epic final charge from Taka, but that just ended up looking pretty retarded =/
Sad thing though, through both Ahead and Genesis, Kawakami had really exhibited awesome rallying cries (軍vsUCAT, Musashi vs Tres Espana/KPA Italia, etc) that just end up looking really silly in anime form. Well, it is one of those things that gets a lot more painful to hear out loud, but they could've done better than this I'd think.

In term of minutes/hours, how much more do we get with the BD? About a 3-5 more minutes per episode. The meeting between the 3 kings got maybe like 7-8 minutes, and the added scenes made the overall meeting make a lot more sense. IIRC, the BD boxes actually came with subs too.

Total Eclipse 13: + Show Spoiler +I liked it. Lots of TSF action this episode. Yuuya charging off to knife fight all the BETA like a badass.
Also was amusing when Yui was like "Yuuya, you can't fight a Fort Class with a Shiranui!" Tell that to Takeru when he solo'd like a dozen of them, alone, lol

I watched the 11th episode just to check things out. And wow, the extra content!!! The dialogue became suddenly more interesting, and we understand how the assassins got there!
I surprised myself watching like 2 hours straight of episode after reading about the extra content on ADT ^^

I'm not a big anime fan, as I don't like the typical asian character drawings. But is there anything that comes close to DBZ? Or the anime that comes closest.

At long last, Gundam AGE is over. My TL;DR thoughts on it is that it isn't nearly as bad as it seemed like it was going to be when it was first announced, but its also not nearly as good as it could have been. I'll try to keep spoilers to a minimum here, and put big spoilers in tags.
The thing that makes Gundam AGE what it is, is its Generational mechanic. The show starts off with Flit Asuno, and takes about the start of a war with a mysterious enemy. Then like 20 episodes later, there is a time skip, and Flit's son, Asemu takes over as the MC. And then after that, Asemu's son Kio finishes off the series. I can't really think of any anime in existence that does this. This style has both its good and bad parts. The good part is that its really interesting to see Flit go from an idealistic kid, to a + Show Spoiler + old man by the end. Seeing Asemu go through this, to a lesser extent, was good as well. The bad part is that this means that these 3 different stories all have to be fitted into 50~ episodes with each other, so each individually are shorter than what a normal-length Gundam story would be. But overall, I think the Generational part of AGE was a plus.
Now lets talk a bit about the anime in more detail. Lets start with Generation 1, where Flit was the main character. It starts off rather generic, but it isn't really bad. There is one really boring/bad part of Generation 1, but the conclusion of it was good enough. Additionally, Generation 1 designs seems like they were intentionally made bland, in terms of mecha. Only the AGE-1 Titus I really liked. Generation 1 was also fairly annoying in that the Federation of the time were extremely weak, and lacked the means to fight the new mysterious enemy, other than the Gundam. But at the end, they are finally able to counter attack, and its revealed who the enemy actually is.
Generation 2 is widely considered the best part of AGE. This part had some of the best fights, and the best plot to go along with it. Generation 2 really concentrated on Asemu, and his inferiority complex towards his father, Flit. Unlike the majority of other Gundam protagonists, Asemu wasn't an equivalent to a "Newtype" (or X-Rounder in Age). He was an "Oldtype", meaning totally normal, no special abilities. So much of Generation 2 is Asemu trying to overcome this, to try and live up to his father's expectation. There are alot of cool fights in this part, AGE really loved beam sabers during this. Mecha wise, designs had taken a step up from Generation 1, but nothing really great. AGE-2 was pretty good though.
Finally, we get to Generation 3. In my personal opinion, it went off on a good start, but then about halfway through, just started piling on stupid stuff. This arc is about Kio, Asemu's son. Asemu has disappeared, so he is raised by his grandfather, Flit. Eventually, the war comes to earth, and Kio is gets in the AGE-3 to fight them off. Mecha wise, there are lots of designs I liked. Fight wise, there are some pretty cool fights. But plot wise... Well, I'll spoiler tag all this stuff, since I'll essentially be spoilering the end of the show. If you don't want to read it, the unspoiler version is just that after a certain point in Generation 3, things start getting stupid. + Show Spoiler +The beginning of the end is when Kio goes to Second Moon, the Vagan's home colony. Here, we learn that Ezelcant is fucking retarded, and instigated the entire war in order to try and pull off some survival-of-the-fittest plan, to create a new, superior mankind. Kio eventually goes into hardcore "understanding" mode. This is really common in anime and stuff, so I'm pretty immune to really caring about this. However, if you were annoyed by Kira's refusal to kill enemy pilots in SEED towards the end, Kio does that too, except magnified to the extreme. A little bit later, Zeheart, the "Char" of the series, has his character say "fuck all the character development I've had", and becomes Ezelcant's successor for his insane plan. Then, in the final battle, Zeheart orders his best pilot and waifu to lure the 3 Gundams and the Diva into firing range of their big ass colony-laser thing. Zeheart has the colony laser fire, kills a sizable portion of his own fleet, kills 2 of his best pilots/his waifu, and the 3 Gundams escape, and the Diva had already abandoned ship and other Federation ships got out of the firing line. Zeheart gets pissed, flies out, and immediately gets killed by Asemu. This is all in one episode, and he personally destroyed his own fleet, waifu, comrades, and himself, all for destroying an empty ship. Then in the final episode, the random main badguy comes out, and then this AI thing called SID comes and takes him over, and all of this was completely unnecessary and stupid.
AGE had its ups and downs. The combination of which makes me give the show 6/10. If things had gone different towards the end, this score could have been very different, but oh well.

I just finished Steins Gate. It took me a few episode to get into it, but WOW, so good!! I had a bias when I started watching it (I'm the guy who enjoys fighting + stuff in an anime). But wow, really a great work!
Anything similar in term of time travel? Or is Steins the best anime out there?

There actually is a Chrono Trigger OVA IIRC (it was some weird race or something)
On time traveler... I like Natsu no Arashi a lot.
Toki o Kakeru Shoujo movie is OK, but it's probably not what you have in mind.

lol Gundam AGE. Overall, I liked it. The generational idea was pretty cool and I think they did a good job with the pacing but I can see why others would disagree. I felt like it got better and better as it progressed but then the last ~10 or so episodes made it really dumb. Throw out all the possible interesting plot, make characters crazy and retarded, and add in random enemies that add nothing except cool battles. It's been awhile since I've seen an anime with a "introduce final boss with no character that we've been intellectually foreshadowing but never bothered to explain in last episode." Also, Zeheart got the most fail and random character "development" ever. But hey, at least I finally got some Hayami Saori in the final episode. Guess I would give it a 7/10 but only because of the fights. Plot-wise, it's a real disappointment.
