I've had Darker than Black on my to-watch list for a long time. Gotta get to it I guess.
Medaka Box and Hagure no Yuusha sound perfect going by the description.
Fairy tail - Natsu winning 1v2 with the power of friendship doesn't make him op!
Are you talking about a MC who just like... demolishes everyone he/she comes into contact with, with little effort? That sort of OP?

Kira Yamato?
lol, well, maybe in SEED Destiny
And at least the second half of SEED.
Not really. Hes OP in like a single battle after getting Freedom, but then when the druggies show up, hes constantly on the ropes, or even once Athrun is around. And then at the end, the Providence beats the shit out of the Freedom.

Where is moonbear so I can laugh at how his Aika finally appears only to flirt with some guy, even if it is likely to be actual plot when it is shown I just want to throw that at his face and laugh.
EDIT - oh my god my face when Yamanaka intercepting Tenzo took 35 seconds, insert obligatory sunrise hate.
oh god what the fuck what the fuck what the fuck was that scene w/ excalibur -.-
Filipe Segundo got butchered harder than Tadakatsu, sigh.
Fucking good job, can't even stick in one or two lines about why the Armada fight couldn't have ended that way.
All I want is for them to do Futayo x Gin better than Futayo x Muneshige, That's not alot to ask... right? RIGHT?
Eh... is it better? Sucks anyway
Flashback to Muneshige vs Gin was better than Futayo vs Gin, also half assed the jokes so jokes don't make sense while still not explaining fights, lol this sunrise.
The 3 pitches at Noriki ended on such an underwhelming note, animation of shiro vs taka can't come close to doing text justice, the rallying cries of the two parties ended up being more of a comedic relief than moving (well, this one was just the finishing blow to butching my man Filipe Segundo). Byakko vs Suzaku had no explanations so who knows wtf happened there. Asama firing that gigantic missile of an arrow was neat except the aftermath was on the wtf side too, etc.
Siiiiiiigh. Oh well, Gin in tears was hot, and the right bgms came at right times.

Mei Ou Project Zeorymer, although beware this one, as its more of the main robot being OP as fuck when its bipolar pilot is in rape mode, and this anime fucking sucks Gundam 00 and Gundam Wing are very guilty of the title robots just obliterating everything they come into contact with with little effort (most of the time, anyway) Gundam: Char's Counter Attack, since its about the best pilot in all of Gundam, with his best machine, when hes at the peak of his skill Rurouni Kenshin, TV series Gun x Sword Mazinkaiser OVA, and especially the Mazinkaiser: Great Shogun of Darkness movie Mazinkaiser SKL OVA Break Blade Votoms, especially the OVAs, which hammer into you just how much of an "abnormal survivor" the MC is.
I can think of alot of shows where the MC is supposed to be very powerful, but most of the time in anime, the villains and/or challenges the hero has to face are scaled up appropriately, so the MC actually has a challenge in overcoming them. Also note, most of the "OPness" of the MC in these shows I recommended comes in conjunction with his giant robot, which is just the way the shows work, pretty much. MD Geist and Kenshin are both shows where the MC personally destroys practically everyone they face with their bare hands (or swords, or grenades with knifes attached to them), the rest are mecha.
Also I finished reading Kaal's rec and I'm not l sure whether it's a troll rec but lol. It's about a guy encouraged to make some harem based off of a set of coincidental Japanese history parallel and it's ALL about the ecchi lol... but he also fails.to get some. Maybe soon though.

Woah, thanks for the list! I've seen Gundam 00 and read Break Blade + Show Spoiler +
holy crap was the ambush on General Borcuse epic.
Will have to check the rest out. MD Geist sounds just lol.

Moral of the story... Gin probably should stop using cheap arse swords that break on contact.
Seems like the BD:s of F/Z second season barely added any new scenes (at least not the important ones), makes me a bit sad as I had planned to rewatch everything once the BD:s get subbed etc. Guess I'll just go read the LN instead.
Second half of the OST is out as well and it's awesome, though, so always something nice.

Brilliant thanks! Though still can't find the piece of music that plays when Saber dodges Riders 'dust' on the bike, and plays again when Archer opens the gate of babylon to awaken Rider once and for all... T_T

I guess cutting half of the fight where Futayo was just getting smacked around and jumping right to the conclusion has a way of making her swords look like paper.
