+ Show Spoiler +Yeah I don't even. I feel like it's sort of like Bleach i.e. Bleach probably was supposed to have ended after the soul society arc where they saved Rukia, and KNIM was supposed to have ended after Haruto decided on Eba and whatever :S

I just finished Uchuu Senkan Yamato. It was quite good even though the plot is a bit generic. It was a bit stupid how the Yamato came close to being destroyed so many times, but managed to make it through by sheer luck, but it was still entertaining overall.
It was also nice to see how other space animes like Macross and Gundam took a lot of elements from this show like a super space battleship taking on armies on its own. And having a humanoid alien race as an enemy.

But I am just finishing FMA:Brotherhood and feel it was simply an amazing show. And now I'm curious if there are other gems I'm missing. Honestly I dont watch much anime, so that suggestion chart is just a crap shoot for me, as I know nothing about any of them.
Im sure some of this is preference, some might say FMA was/is one of the best, while others will probably say its overrated. But id be interested in another series that is on that level of quality, that I may have missed. The only other anime I have seen is Trigun and Death Note, both which i thought were pretty good.
Oh, and if you have ideas for me, perhaps consider PMing me the suggestions. As while I wish to find another great show to watch, I'd rather not derail a better conversation here, even if it is a post or two. Thanks.

Did you watch FMA 2003 as well? If not, do so.
A few random recommendations from the top of my head: Fate Zero, Black Lagoon, Full Metal Panic!, Angel Beats.
edit: and if you liked DN I guess I could recommend Code Geass as well, I find the MC:s to be similar and I enjoyed that show quite a bit when I was still pretty new to anime.

You can also give the original FMA a watch, but FMA:B pretty heavily spoils the original, so not sure if it would be as enjoyable.

I need to catchup...does it look like it's ending soon? I don't want to go through what I had to with TRC again and wait over a year just for hte last dozen chapters to finish up...
