Binbougami is my fav this season, always cracks me up ^_^
Ive heard good things about Apollon. I guess ill convert the entire series and watch it on my ipod if you say it gives you that Natsuyuki feeling.
Also, lol @ Sent and Sickiee.

Add to the discussion? I outlined reasons I don't like the SAO anime. You responded directly to that post, and started talking about it being popular in Japan. What does that have to do with anything/how is that a response to anything I said? How does that add anything to the discussion of "What is good or bad about the SAO anime", which is what we were talking about? When I repeatedly asked you to somehow show relevance, you decide to start telling me to get off my high horse, and then start calling me a child. So, are you being serious? I can't tell if you are just trying to troll me or not. If you are trying to troll me, good job, you got me.

SAO is a total disappointment (compared to the hype i felt during the first episode) and I'm really liking AW nowadays. Can't explain that.
As for the best show this season, at this point I'd say Jinsui. We'll see if Kokoro Connect gets better again with the 7 episodes they have left.

I think, good sir, we are going in circles. I do not think you know the meaning of a discussion.
Now, this might be me losing my 'fluency' in English if I wrote it wrong, but I am pretty sure I simply 'added' to the discussion. Like you know, make it more varied.
If I am wrong, please forgive me - but last I checked adding to the discussion was not frowned upon. Apparently to you it is.

But Gundam SEED Destiny is one of the most popular animes that ever aired, and Kira Yamato was made the Newtype top 10 characters poll for like 10 years straight.

that's because half the characters are completely forgotten, the others are randomly killed, and the main characters have no depth except for some forced romance because there is nothing else interesting going on in the show. Hey! I like the forced romance Really enjoyed episode 10, despite all the flak everyone is giving it. Same here , something about the anime just really speaks to me I dont know what it is Maybe cause it's not full of fan-service (to an extent) and ecchi/harem like the other 3/4 of the anime this season. =.= Probs one of the reasons I like it so much anyway. lol, I guess I've learned my lesson trying to talk with people who like SAO. I guess I've learnt my lesson talking to children. Maybe next time you can learn not to be so condescending and arrogant. Just because someone doesn't agree with you doesn't mean they are wrong nor does it mean that they cannot add to the discussion - which I assume this thread is.
lmfao.
SAO is popular amongst akiba otakus, no shit? I would never guess that a bunch of NEETs would like a self-insertion anime with a bunch of hot women that are essentially dutch wives that fall in love with a generic looking japanese guy protagonist stuck in a video game. Not to mention said generic japanese guy protagonist gets random OP shit and trololols over everyone because he's so ALPHA even though he actually has no personality. Not to mention said anime is originally from a web novel that includes sex. Holy glop now why would they like an anime like that.
Don't get me started on Asuna, because holy dutch wife. Gee, I do love them more-generic-than-Rie tsunderes. nom nom nom.
Sorry, but I don't understand how you can't be disgusted by SAO and it's fanbase. Like holy shit I hope you're just watching this crap to waste time because you have nothing better to do in your life or you like the incredibly overbudgeted visuals, that would actually be fine.
And the opinion of 2ch/akiba in the last like 5 years? Real reliable. I just love reading the 6000th thread about generic incest, self-insertion or moe anime.
inb4 child.
Edit:
oh god my sides.

oh my god my sides you're actually serious.

I don't know what you mean about their opinions - but when I went down to Akiba and talked to a few store workers that worked at the local bookstores/figure stores - it was that SAO would easily get a second anime due to the overwhelming demand for product and anime.
Idk if those were sites or something you mentioned but ya. I like SAO mainly because of it's animation and plot relation to MMORPG's. I never stated it was 'teh best animez of all timezzz'.

Of course it's going to get a second season, every one of these fanservice animes gets a second season. That doesn't change the fact that it's a blight on the face of the earth. You are talking like something getting a second season means it's automatically good. It's bad and you should feel bad for liking it.

I'm not sure if a lot of TLers watch Gintama, but I'm really excited for several new episodes next month as well as the new movie in 2013.

Gintama doesnt take itself that seriously, so it can get away with that. Besides, being a shounen doesnt have to be a bad thing. alot of people like shounen, thats why the genre is so popular lol

I like the action parts etc but the Asuna dutchwife stuff makes me cringe. Like, last episode was good until the proposal really...
so, we're past 16.5 now I assume?

Horizon is the one I'm looking forward to the most even though it does a really poor job of explaining stuff. To be expected considering they are cramming whole vol 2 (A, B) into 12 ep. 2 (physical) vols in 12 is a really good pace (F/Z gets 24 ep for 4 vol) on the face value but Vol 2 B is thickest LN in existence and A - B combined is nearly twice as long as F/Z total. So we are getting double the novel length in half the air time, the result is a concentration of all action part that doesn't even do action justice. Oh well...
The best by far this season is Binbougami even though the manga is taking a strange turn now.
Up to ep 190 on Gintama, 60 more to go.
Just started AW manga, Aqua Current!!! + Show Spoiler +Trap potential is through the roof! And should be finally back to duty next LN vol (13)

This weeks Jinsui: school :o

Pretty much.
There is no way this SAO anime is getting past Vol4, lol
You meant: "SAO is not getting past vol 4 in the first season of 25 episodes." Sickkiee thought you meant: "SAO will never get past vol. 4 (because it won't get a second season)."
And then you two yelled past each other for an entire page.
