No, I didn't say that before July season, because it had plenty for me to look forward to. The current season is the best season we had for over two years. There were discussions about greater # of shows being followed and enjoyable this season than quite a while. Original poster agree with this sentiment by stating his enjoyment of this season. It's only natural the follow up season would not be as good considering current season is more of a anomaly than a recurring theme. | ||

It is my opinion that this season is a lot better than previous seasons, which is an opinion original poster suggests he shares by stating "Quite enjoying this season's anime". It is also my opinion that next season looks a lot worse than this season, and that my excitement for next season does not match my excitement for current season 3 months ago. Which original poster might share considering previous point, but might not, which would be great for him. You obviously doesn't share the first point, so the second point doesn't even apply. Not sure which posters you're referring to say that this is the best season we've had in over two years. It's almost as if you looked at the posters who said that they liked this season and used that to say that people think this season is better than others, but clearly you didn't do that, so whatever. | ||

I would, but the problem is that we're watching anime, where people's opinions on a show can differ from light and day. For example, I can say that it's quite silly for you to use Tari Tari as one of your anime this season that justifies it being the best in over two year, and you'd come back and be like "No Tari Tari good, PA Works \o/" In other words, it's pointless for me to really say any of these things, so I might as well just be sarcastic and comment on how ridiculous a statement like "best season we've had in two years" sounds, especially when only a few anime this season (and some of the more popular/better ones you haven't been following either) I'd bother giving a decent score to. Besides, I'd argue that my like of a season only needs to have one anime at times to really make a season. There's so much anime that comes out that there's bound to be garbage anyway, so it's not like quantity automatically makes everything better. For instance, Fate/Zero came out Winter 2011 (I think...?) and that made the season for me regardless of whatever other shows came out. | ||

I need at least 3-4 anime weekly to fill the time. F/Z is great, but when you only 30 min to look forward to every week, just not enough. When you have 1 show to watch everyday, it's like heaven. | ||
