I guess you weren't on IRC when I hit the last chapter. In my very humble opinion, G Sen started strong, and then you get to the last chapter, and it turns into G Sen Destiny: Hangyaku no Maou. Tons of ass-pulls, and takes a huge dump on everything else that happened in the game, all according to keikaku. The writer may have written himself into a corner, but that doesn't change what it is. Sharin was alot better. Both Sharin and G Sen have a late-game twist, but Sharin's was good, while G Sen's ruined it. | ||

You'll get different answer from most people, but the general opinion is that Shizune's route is by far the worst and then among the other 4 it depends in your personal preference. For me it was Hanako and Rin, but I've seen quite a few who prefered Lilly's and Emi's routes. None are really skip-worthy tho since it's a simple game in the sense that it's not that easy to end up in a bad end and that there are quite few choices to go by, but every route gives some insight into other characters of the game, including the side-characters (Teacher, Nurse, Kenji for example) so you should just do it all if you want to keep on with it. @Sent: I see, so it's one of those kinds. I'll check it out eventually still if the rest is strong, though. Think the others will have higher prio for now. | ||

A lot of people did get mad at it though, but I think Sent and Uta's hate are among the more extreme for it. | ||

I got the Fate Stay Night VN because I had watched both the anime and the UBW movie, and I wanted to experience the third route, Heaven's feel. It's a bit annoying, though, since I discovered that to get that one you have to complete the other two, which I already know the (general) story of, so I'm not too eager to go through them... is there a way to go around this or is it simply worth it to go through those two routes even though I know more or less what's going to happen? So far I've almost only seen things that were in the anime, and I've been making choices based on "hm, what happened in the anime, that choice should be the correct one", which is fairly boring... ...with the exception of + Show Spoiler + Rin x Saber x Shirou Mainly because I didn't expect + Show Spoiler + Rin | ||
