Well boobs definitely intentional, gotta sell goods. Kinda like how all gundams are supposed to be gunpla commercials.
Jokes aside, it just wasn't something for Sunrise. Like what what I was saying when it started airing, the style that Kawakami write is similar to Nishio Ishin, so basically think a hot blood version of Bake. Sunrise can do the hotblood part decently, for everything else it was just out of its depth. So things like the series of fights starting from the student meeting were done pretty well, but a lot of the setup and transitions just got omitted because it was just going to be a lot of talking that alternates between a serious mood and random dumb shit for parody and service. In the end, the show just isn't something that Sunrise is experienced in doing, throw in the limitation in amount of episodes they have to play with...yeah. The resulting work is far from horrid, but it is just a shadow of the source material.

So some child of Sunrie + Shaft ? I think theres maybe 1 or 2 shaft shows I havent seen and I dont think they particularly enjoy hot blooded stuff. Atleast not enough to do any as far as Im aware, unless you want to count remastering gunbuster which for me isnt to high up the scale.

Shaft could've done it, look at Madoka fights. Dunno what kind of dealings were done between the parties but I was personally pitching for Shaft to do it all the way.

Yea Im not a huge fan of the way Shaft does fights. Id take the way Sunrise did the opening fight sequence for example (although they have their fair share of hilarious badness) over whatever iteration Shaft wouldve put out, but thats just me.

Man... Just caught up with one piece. Best anime I have seen. All the characters are so well developed, the humor, Luffy being a badass. It just all fits. Now I have to wait once a week, fuck 
Also question: How far ahead is the manga? And is the manga better than the anime?

Kanade's isn't really bad, but Riho's route is easily the best of them all I'd say.
Edit: Funnily enough I got to Kud's route in LB (which is hilarious sofar) yesterday and I think Yayoi's worse. Not by much, but worse. Feels good to be able to compare!

Total Eclipse should be fine for people who haven't read the VNs or anything. Its a side story to Alternative, so its not like you are expected to know the characters or anything, and they will probably explain the setting very early too (if not, I got lots of screenshots to spam).
Total Eclipse is basically going to be Alternative's version of Top Gun or Macross Plus. I think Alternative Chronicles 03, which recently came out has a PV for it, so once that gets on youtube I'll fanboy over that soon enough. On the whole, I thought it was a pretty good adaptation of the game. It seemed to handle the story very well. They did well in turning the protagonist into someone likable, with personality. It had a couple of hiccups along the way, most notably the pacing. In particular, the Shadow Rise/Shadow Teddie fight was incredibly rushed. With as many social links as they have and the number of episodes to work with, I can see why pacing can be a problem. Most of the boss fights were kinda so-so as well. I still found the series enjoyable.

Chihiro doesn't need a gap. I really don't like her, however, what she did in recent chapters was all planned to 'remove' herself from the love triangle. Probably the best thing she ever did in the entire manga. lol
Hoping for Yokkyun ending. BTW, the manga is still in 2008, right? If so, Keima did not play Katawa Shoujo yet.

Chihiro was annoying, but she acted in a very human manner, imo. I don't like her that much either.
Ayumi, on the other hand. I think she has something different up her sleeve. After what Chihiro said to her, I don't think she's just going to be ready to take what he says at face value, even a these lengths. Too excited for these next few chapters.
