LOL that save on the whole "stay in the city" thing, so lame but still reassuring. Rest was kinda interesting, especially how the two who passed on going in just got screwed over badly. Question now is if they'll be lame and do the typical "kill person with the tape" or do something more original :o and only 3 episodes left, no? Will be very cool to see what happens. | ||

Also when they're in the middle of a bossfight and they just slam a filler episode in there where nothing actually happens is just shameful. | ||

All "bossfights" had some sort of flashback or background elaboration, dont think those count as fillers. And ya, one of the best points of marathoning Fairy Tail was being able to watch like 5 episodes at a time till you felt content. Now you gotta wait weekly to get your fix, and thats just not swag at all. | ||

The music probably plays a big part, and I gotta give it to PA Works for making every sound count. For example, I got really jumpy when Misaki hopped over the warning sign because there was little clack of the board when she moved over it. I almost immediately thought something was going to happen. It was pretty cool how the mood, music, and sounds worked to just make it pretty haunting. | ||

It was more like they killed someone off because they have to kill someone off because we expect 1 death at least per ep, then they realize oops this fucks with the stuff that we know and need to hold true, let's make up bullshit to explain it away. As for your question, think about the bullshit that PA works is doing and the answer should be obvious. I seriously hate how they went with a completely formulaic approach to this. The thing is, the panty shots and fan service was so constant that within two or three episodes I just completely stopped noticing it. Wow....the tape would rip off at the last sec. Right when I though since they only had 3 more episode, they had to wrap it up but instead I get trolled.....from what Ecael is saying, I am going to assume the ending isnt going to be based off the light novel right? | ||

I wasn't talking about flashbacks, spoiler for episode 117 - 119 + Show Spoiler + The fight against the grimoire heart boss was just ridiculously stretched. In 118 all that actually happened is laxus came by and gave Natsu lightning power. I ever heard from Kyuubi they took only those few scenes from the manga and the rest of the episode was just pure to fill and stretch time because the anime is catching up to the manga too fast. | ||

+ Show Spoiler + I enjoyed it, was a fun show. The protag was surprisingly likable, despite constantly whining and all-in-all being an extreme morale-fag. Also thought his "I don't hit women" was annoying as well. Was hoping in one of the episodes he'd finally realize he was more being an ass than having good morals in that respect. Though the fight scenes were as anime-ish as ever. Half the fights are the people fighting talking or outsiders giving their opinion on the the fight, the other half is actually fighting. Fights are always both fighters extremely underestimating each other and always calling the fight over before it's actually over, and then acting surprised at nearly everything their opponent does. Also the ending felt really abrupt. Still, it was a fun show that I enjoyed and would watch more of. Looks like I started it at a good time too. An OVA is coming out in a few weeks for it. | ||
