Jin exploring the new world of "women" was hilarious. To him checking out their boobs, and to him referring to their tears as "powerful weapons". The hints of Jin falling in love with Yunoha was done perfectly. Very subtle and romantic.
I was not expecting much, knowing that this episode was gonna be about Jin. But I was really surprised with how they went with this, totally unpredictable imo. Being a new "transer student", he was going to be naturally shy in an environment surrounded by people he doesnt know. He starts to shut off people and isolate himself (this part hit home with me). Yunoha sees this and sympathizes with him, and in turn, we get to learn more about the two of them. Very nice development imo. Definitely not another love-sappy story here, but very legit true feelings.
The music that queued when he was outside her window, just wow... Best fcking soundtrack Ive heard in an anime yet. Really really fitting for the scene and situation.
Then of course, he develops an elemental power. Fucking... YESSS. Just, that part was the icing on the cake.
And Fudo being the usual bad-ass that he is knew what was going on the entire time. And only Cayenne and Shrade were partically aware of what was really going on.
Which starts to make me wonder, what is Fudou's elemental power, assuming he has one? Im gonna guess its something along the lines of being able to see people's true inner self (elemental power). Thats why hes able to decide what unions to form for Aquarion. The more and more you think about this, its kinda like how GC has their inner voids and shit. But I wont even get to that, GC is in no way comparable to EVOL. Overall, Im buying the bluray set, no matter what the price. I am sold... Fudo Zen is the reincarnation of Fudo Gen. Gen was a powerful magician, and also a reincarnation of the 3rd original Aquarion Pilot, along with Apollonius and Celiane (who also returned as reincarnated characters in the first Aquarion, and again in EVOL).

New Good Ending chapter: + Show Spoiler +AHAHAHAHAHAHA just when everything might actually have a chance of going smoothly, the author trollfaces with the photo contest result cliffhanger. Man I'd hate to think anyone actually takes the manga seriously

Rakia started so good and now it looks like it's turning into some highschool romance with highschool thug fighting T_T
I want my monsters back!
You guys ever thought about how stupid this is in mangas when you got highschool or even worse middle school kids ( like in Wolfguy ) who are super ripped and look like 25 year old MMA fighters? I mean we are talking about japanese here who are 160cm tall on average and maybe 70kg weight.

70kg? They are barely 60kg on average lol.

DEARDROPS got translated; the true route (Riho) is one of the best pure routes in romance VNs. Recommend it o/

At the moment it's definitely strongest writing/story I've encountered in a VN, and that's saying a lot considering how critical I usually am with these things. Writing, presentation, everything was just spot on for the main route (I hear the others are not so good, which drags down the game's rating, which I hereby call the Little Busters/DEARDROPS syndrome).

hm the guys who made KiraKira and Edelweiss. Sounds good I'll take a look at it

I saw some of the CG. It looks nice. Maybe I try some time kk npnp. I'm also big sucker for soundtrack.
But Oota, you're so masochistic reading them mangas. All that rage over Natsuki. But yah, Fruit Basket starts becoming weird all of a sudden in the middle lol.

Fruit Basket goes from romcom to WHAT THE FUCK lol. Hoshi ha Utau went from karekano-type shoujo to FUCK YOU NATSUKI AREAJASHFASUHDASFAHAASF.

Is the ending as downer as Fruit Basket? + Show Spoiler +I know it's kind of a happy end, but it's also kinda a downer ending when you think about it. Cause if it's even worse, I think I avoid because I don't enjoy self-punishment lol.

It was a happy ending. Like, true happy ending. The problem is that the detour they take in the last two volumes to get from happy ending path to what the fuck back to happy ending path at the last second was rage-inducing and prevented me from getting to sleep last night for like three hours, lol.
I still can't decide if that ruined the series for me or if the fact that it ended happily anyways sort of cancels out the rage.

So is anyone else excited about the Strike Witches movie? It starts airing in 12 days (March 17th).
Any idea when someone will have a subbed version out?

Any idea when someone will have a subbed version out? In 8-12 months when the blu-ray/dvd of the movie comes out. Maybe earlier if you're lucky enough to get a cam rip.

Is it because they have to wait for a high enough quality camrip before they can sub it?

Im watching Mirai Nikki right now, it started off rather interesting (I love higurashi so I had some expectations) but Im not sure if I like it, some things are just stupid, 12th (the blind superhero guy) and that little kid were just sooo bad... Does it get better or should I drop it?

If you drop it, go ahead and just read the manga.
