I enjoyed it, was a fun show. The protag was surprisingly likable, despite constantly whining and all-in-all being an extreme morale-fag. Also thought his "I don't hit women" was annoying as well. Was hoping in one of the episodes he'd finally realize he was more being an ass than having good morals in that respect.
Though the fight scenes were as anime-ish as ever. Half the fights are the people fighting talking or outsiders giving their opinion on the the fight, the other half is actually fighting. Fights are always both fighters extremely underestimating each other and always calling the fight over before it's actually over, and then acting surprised at nearly everything their opponent does.
Also the ending felt really abrupt.
Still, it was a fun show that I enjoyed and would watch more of. Looks like I started it at a good time too. An OVA is coming out in a few weeks for it.
Abrupt ? Its the end of an arc, theres like god knows many after that. Besides the anime is like what 5-6 years old ? Sentenal will tell you thats really ollllldddddddddd. Its a reasonably long running series at this point. Not that it gets amazing or anything/ Thats kinda the formula for most shounenesque fight stuff anyway I dont think it tries to trick you into thinking otherwise at any point. + Show Spoiler +
It took him 450 something chapters to hit a girl.. once. Infact it was pretty recent.
Its pretty generic with lots of teaser style ecchi and more of what you are talking about. I didnt get some of the things you were talking about but maybe I just dont remember. It doesnt happen like that in the manga anyway (well aside from the explaining of whats going on. Its more of the same later really Masters are more involved, lots of godlike stuff going with them fighting people, panty shots, Miuservice etc etc. With Kenichi just being in the way because well its him.
He jumps down from the sky and says "I'm back", then it rolls to credits. No after the large finale battle talk, no "well what happens now?", no celebration after defeating the guys you spent the last 40+ episodes having to deal with, just done. End of the series as anime fans know it. No real closure makes it a pretty abrupt ending.
I know it's old lol, I saw it's release date. I'm not really sure your point in bringing that up.
It not the end....lol that just the first arc. The manga still going....and the manga is getting ridiculously silly imo. Doubt they will ever make a season 2. It been quiet a while already.
It was the end, because nothing else came after it in terms of anime. Hence, it was the last episode, and the end. Not asking for them to do something like: "He lived happily ever after", or "And he was the strongest ever, the end". Just some sort of actual conclusion showing the aftermath of the battle. Feels unsatisfactory for him and his group to win this large fight, and then not be told what happened to those involved afterwords.
It not the end -.-....they did that on purpose so if they ever wanted to, they could add in a season 2 without totally screwing up the plot and the manga wise. We dont want another Full metal alchemist brotherhood situation to happen again, it was a good thing brotherhood was really good. But the point is, is that it is not the end. Just read the manga and you will understand. In fact, it a perfect ending imo. It leave them room if they want to ever start a season 2 or not since it can end it here (which they probably are).
Alright I see what you mean now. Started reading the manga where the anime left off (good to see it followed it so close), and right away I see they literally just jumped into the next arc. So I guess the ending they did was the best for the series, rather than getting some closure and risking screwing up the series.
Also, from the previews of the OVA, it looks like it jumps in right where the anime left off. Which like you said, makes its seem likely they'll make a second season.

Watch Code Geass in either english dub or sub. Both are pretty good actually.
ok so to help me stay awake for IEM I started Code Geass and damnnnnn I would say watch it for sure! almost everyone has probably seen it but just gunna put it in spoilers to be safe
Damn this plot is so tangled I'm going to lol so hard when everything comes out in the open. I just got to the part where Shirley's dad died due to Lelouch's actions and my jaw hit the floor. Also I'm preety sure Lelouch turned around while he was talking to that old guy whos the head of that group (kyoto i think) and showed everyone his face but it might have been a weird angle so idk

Convinced me to subscribe to crunchyroll : Also his Anime reviews are pretty good quality unlike 90% of youtube reviewers out there. I think this guy deserves more subscribers.
Here an example of one of his reviews
So I looked out what else he reviewed and guess what? I gotta say I disagree with everything he said.

What the heck did I just read? I guess it would be an okay chapter....if it weren't the penultimate chapter of the series!! WTF?!?! Magical Detective Yue sounds like a spinoff series waiting to happen. This chapter is a huge contrast to the previous five chapters. I will be surprised if it isn't Negi rescuing naked Yue. I'm just disappointed that the last chapter will only be 19 pages with some color pages. Not much of an ending to the series per se.

Just wait till you see everyone going dragon ball Z mode and you wished you had stop at the anime lol
Yea have to agree I wouldnt recommend trying to catch up on it. Its not worth catching up on at all. Your time would be better served elsewhere.
Also no I dont think there will be a second season, they throw in ova's sure but second season is highly unlikely. Not that its something particularly to look forward to.
I´m looking for a anime where to guys (I think) compete against eachother when it comes to drawing the best manga or anime. That´s basicly all I know about it. Anyone knows the name of this series?
Would really like to see this since I like the idea!

Sounds like Bakuman. But if thats not it, then you should give that one a try also.

Uh... Im so lost at this point. Its so hard to memorize everyone's names so I really dont know what theyre talking about or who theyre referring to half the time.
But the Lan-service this episode was really nice. I hope they keep it up. *Wan*
Well, since Digimon doesn't really seem to be on people's radars anymore (can't find anything on the search), and it's been a few days, I think I'll not put this in spoilers to get more attention. This week, Taichi (Tai) and Masaru (Marcus) finally showed up in the latest episode of Digimon Xros Wars. This marks a return of previous characters. Mimi and Ruki (Rika) also made appearances:

Interesting, I havent watch Digimon in a long time. It still meh for me. Iono, I just cant get into it anymore. I need a more deep and compelling story line. I am sure if I was 10 years younger, I would be drooling for this show. Meh for now, meh...pretty nostalgic to see old digimon but I dont think I will ever watch digimon again.
EDIT: Holy? Does these kid like not grow up? They look exactly the same rofl

There wont be a 2nd season imo. Rereading my post, I did sound like I implied there would be a 2nd season but I must of mistyped because I meant there wont be a 2nd season. I only said that they left the ending in the anime uncertain to give the possibility of a second season but they ended it on a arc so it also looked like the series also end. This gave them the choice of either ending it here or starting a new season later. I am 80% sure there wont be, maybe if the ova does well but the ova have to do like AMAZING. Which I dont think it will do, it will probably just do well -> good.
